Farmhouse
I want to address the positives of this property: It is a farmhouse! It was very comfortably temperature controlled; it provided several rooms for sleeping. There were plenty of towels in bathrooms. Negatives:I could not check in until 4:00 pm because the âcleaning crew â would be there. We arrived at the property at 2:00 pm nobody was there. Trash cans were left at the street. We returned at 4:00 pm. We went into the property and the back screened door was missing the piston which held the door open, the house had not been cleaned. In the dining room there was old dried shredded cheese on the floor. There were bugs on the floors. The kitchen was missing a cabinet door, and the house had well water. This was not in the description of the house. We had to go and buy bottled water so we could have coffee and tea. The main bedroom had dog hair in the bed, the lake room had 3 lamps but only one worked. The downstairs bathroom had a shower curtain that was so long it plugged the drain. The living room tv remote only had one battery and it was the wrong remote for that TV. This property lacked details. I addressed the issues with the host on the day we checked in, he wrote back he would address these issues with his cleaning crew. the next morning I received an automated message asking how was my first night? The next day I received an automated message saying if I could not give a 5 star review to let the host know and they would fix it. Nothing was fixed
