This was a delightful place to stay and the hosts have gone out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Check your spam if you don't here from them because I missed an email that explained everything! Even so, after we arrived, the host was in contact in minutes via text, answering what must have seemed silly questions and offering suggestions. My husband, son, and I stayed in the upstairs bedrooms and my dad stayed in the first level bedroom. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were each like a mini retreat. Our favorite room was the sunroom off the back - waking early, sipping coffee, and watching the birds, the bunny, deer off in the far field, and even a very large groundhog! We were in town for Cooperstown baseball camps but this was a great location. We had no trouble driving 20 minutes to shop and the 30 minutes or so to the fields. If you are used to walking to restaurants and shops - this is not that kind of stay, so give yourself time. This home is welcoming and definitely better for couples and older children who may not need to burn off as much steam. We were sad to go and wish we had planned more time to truly enjoy the yard and the surrounding area. The little town of Franklin looked so very quaint! If you are looking for old world charm with modern ammenities - this home for your stay will not disappoint.
