“Unfortunately we only stayed at Ashbourne House for one night, and that is a shame because it is a very nice guest house! The room are clean, fresh and comfortable. When we arrived they had put choclate at our pillows, the choclate were from a local shop in Franshhoek. Me and my boyfriend are crazy about the breakfast at the hotel. They served everything from scrambled eggs, omeletts, bacon to fresh fruit and yoghurt. We can really recomend this guest house! ”

“Plumwood boutique hotel was situated close to all the amenities in Franschhoek. The room was spotless. The staff were excellent on always on hand to help us. “Spacious and very comfortable rooms in a delightful property. Excellent staff, if a little too formal / deferential at times. Only thing I can score it down for is attention to detail on housekeeping -teapot and cup not cleaned away one day. Stairs and hall carpet needs a vacuum. Would recommend especially for the tranquility. ”

“The property is excellent and well maintained throughout. The staff cannot be nicer and were a joy to be around. Heated floors in the bathroom are just one of the smaller fine touches. Small but enough selection for breakfast. ”
