  • Denna envåningshus ligger i ett högt läge och erbjuder fantastisk havsutsikt i AONB .. Alla på bottenv��ningen:
    Vardagsrum: Med Freeview TV och DVD-spelare.
    Kök / matsal: Med elspis, mikrovågsugn, kyl, diskmaskin och tvättmaskin.
    Sovrum 1: Med dubbelsäng.
    Sovrum 2: Med enkelsängar.
    Duschrum: Med duschkabin och toalett .. Oljecentralvärme ingår. . Båda fastigheterna: El, sänglinne, handdukar och Wi-Fi ingår. Resesäng på begäran. Välkomst paket. Garage med 2 torktumlare och bänkskivor. Inhägnad gräsmatta med uteplats, trädgårdsmöbler och grill. Cykelaffär (delad). Privat parkering. Extern spelrum med airhockey, bordtennis och litet biljardbord (delat). Ingen rökning.. Dessa två mycket bekväma parhus stugor (26817 och 26818) upptar en fantastisk upphöjd position på en blandad bondgård på huvudet strax utanf��r den vackra byn Pennan. Båda fastigheterna har fantastisk havsutsikt. Mill Shore Cottage har ett mysigt vardagsrum som har fönster på två sidor som tillåter oavbruten visning av Mill Shore nedanför - en avskild stenstrand med sandiga grunkar bortom, som erbjuder ett unikt perspektiv på det rikliga marina livet - sälar kan enkelt ses i bukten, medan längre fram valar och delfiner ses ofta. Pennan Lodge har återigen fantastisk utsikt över Pennan själv och bukten bortom. Förutom det fantastiska marina livet, precis runt hörnet och synligt från stugorna är Troup Head, ett känt naturreservat med den enda brittiska fastlandet koloni av gannetter. Nästa dörr är Cullykhan Beach, en annan avskild vik som nås av en brant promenad ner till stranden. Pennan är känd för sin berömda telefonl��da, som ingår i filmen "Lokala hjälten", men det är en härlig by i sig, som är typisk för dem som sträcker sig utmed den här robusta kusten, inklusive Crovie och Gardenstown, som nås av branta sneda vägar till botten av klipporna från vilka de klamrar sig. Detta är en AONB som erbjuder underbara områden för promenader. Handla och restaurang 4 miles, pub ¼ mil.

Mill Shore Cottage ticked every box for us. Clean and Warm. Easy check in. Sitting above the beautiful Pennan Harbour it was perfect. Scones at the “Coastal Cuppie” we’re simply the best we have ever tasted. It’s somewhere we would love to return to.

An excellent cottage for comfort and location. It had a wonderful aspect to see the Northern Lights which I was fortunate to see every night . No need to go outside just look out the lounge window. Plenty of things to see and do here ranging from the Speyside whiskey town Dufftown to the Peterhead Prison. Old fishing harbours that I found stunning . Pennan is good but Crovie was incredible . Portsoy famous film location including Peaky BlindersFor me it was well worth the long drive.

We booked for a week, but extended our stay by a five days as the cottage was comfortable and local scenery was great. There is a garden and outside clothes drying facilities. Didn't use the tumble dryer. Lovely views all around. The cottage was warm and comfortable. It is more suitable for a party of 2 or a family of 2 adults and 2 children. It suited our purposes as a couple. There is a modern bathroom and a good cooker, fridge freezer and washing machine. Covid guidelines are being followed and we understand that high touch items have been removed, but items such as a few J-Cloths, bleach and more than one toilet roll would have been appreciated. The property is run as a business and there was no contact with the owner, except an initial phone call to arrange entry. That said, we did extend our stay and we would return. Lovely cottage in a super location.

Mill shore cottage is a very clean, warm, inviting, well equipped cottage. The hosts are very attentive. Would not hesitate to stay again. The local area has lots of quaint fishing villages to explore. The beach below the cottage is a delight, one morning saw a seal basking on the sand. The perfect place to chill and relax. Enjoyed a lovely anniversary week.

An excellent property with a stunning view of the sea.

An excellent property with a stunning view of the sea. Very comfortable. The only very minor snag was that the shower lacked a bit of power. The central heating was very effective and easily controllable. Pennan itself is a bit quiet with only the pub/restaurant - which is very good but only open from 5pm Wed to Sun. The walk up the hill to the cottage nearly killed us so take the car!
