Lovely hotel
Last minute booking and was recommended by a customer , dinner and breakfast was lovely and room was very nice and clean my only comment would be that the room 1 was in the attic and very cold , there was an additional heater in wardrobe but room never really heated up and I would have had to get dressed to go all the way downstairs to ask for heating to be turned up. I said comment not complaint because over all my stay was more than satisfactory

A classic Scottish Inn set by the sea, the Davron was a delightful stop on our tour of Northern Scotland. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. I hope to stay at the Davron again in the future.

Delightful reception staff and very helpful restaurant staff, too. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was excellent - a really good range of vegetarian choices. The evening meal was very disappointing, in contrast - a limited choice of unimaginative options. My sweet potato curry was bland and overpriced.

It is a friendly warm place. Staff is very accommodating. In the pub attached to the hotel the local folk are full of fun and very talkative. We had a very good time and would stay there again.

Great wee hotel in a pretty seaside town
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Davron Hotel as the room was clean and spacious. The staff were also very helpful and the cooked breakfast was yummy with lots of choices such as a full vegan breakfast, eggs royale or pancakes.

Great stay!
Wasn't sure what to expect but it turned out to be a great hotel/pub/restaurant. Service was excellent, from breakfast to bar to restaurant. Everybody was really friendly. Room was clean and tidy with everything fully functional. Food in the restaurant was really good; with good vegetarian options. Breakfast also had good vegetarian options. In fact, it was one of the best veggie brekkies I've had! They even swapped the butter pats for vegan spread for me - nice touch. Had some nice, brisk, refreshing walks along the harbour and the beach. Will definitely stay here again when working in the area.

Lovely small hotel in a beautiful seaside village.
Nice little hotel right on the edge of the harbour. Staff were friendly and our room clean and comfortable. The restaurant food was good with a great choice at reasonable prices. The breakfast choice was good and first class. The area was quiet with plenty of on street parking in the village square.

Could not fault this hotel.
Top quality room in this small hotel/ pub. First class accommodation with a lovely sea view. Breakfast porridge and kippers were superb.

A wonderful stay.
A lovely stay. The staff couldn't do enough to help. A very warm welcome from the receptionist. Helpful housekeeping. Lovely helpful and friendly service ftom the breakfast team. All really lovely. The food was delicious. Breakfast and dinner. The porridge was fantastic!. I woild highly reccomend The Davron Hotel

The stay was very nice and the room was comfortable and slept very well, the staff were very friendly and helpful breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in a long time the seafront is a 30 second walk and overall was lovely

Superb stop over
I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in the area. The food was excellent and the staff were lovely. . our room was excellent ... We went a leisurely stroll along the beach and harbour. Overall ratings for our one night stay is ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

February stay at Davron Hotel
Stayed for 4 nights in February, the weather was extremely windy and cold. The room was an adequate size, warm and comfortable. The staff were polite and helpful and the food was very nice. It was in a pleasant location on north east cost convenient for Fraserburgh, RSPB Loch of Strathbeg, Peterburgh and north cost. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel itself was nice enough and reasonably comfortable. On my second evening I ordered the seafood curry (it was seafood night) but received chicken curry! A pleasant young woman apologised profusely and a eventually got my chosen dish - genuine mistake, but annoying. Breakfast on day 1 was just fine - ordered porridge, which arrived within 5 minutes. On day 2, again I ordered porridge at 7.00 (I was first to arrive in the restaurant, as previous day), but had to leave unfed at 7.22 as no porridge materialised. I suspect that the kitchen was busy making the 2 large breakfasts for guests at adjacent table who ordered just after me - although there's hadn't arrived when I left either. How long does it take to make a bowl of porridge- certainly not 20 minutes!! Disappointing to say the last. I had planned to stay there next week, but fortunately my plans allow me to use another hotel.
