“Very charming, older house. It is a bit out of the way, but very beautiful. Check-in was easy, but there were no instructions on check out, such as stripping the beds, garbage, etc. I emailed the owner to see about guidance, but never heard back. It is definitely out in the country, so it is possible they never received my message. Overall we had a great experience.”

“We enjoyed our stay here very much. The cabin is on a hill and has great views of the surrounding area. It is also in a great location for hiking at Hanging Rock State Park, and for exploring the area. Danbury is like a time-capsule with lots of history and old buildings. The cabin is well equipped, check-in is easy, and the owners respond quickly if you have any questions.”

“This house is beautiful. We found it clean and smelling nice. It was really cool because in the kitchen all cabinets were labeled so it made things easy when needing something. It was fully stocked. “Beautiful restoration of an older home. Very comfortably decorated. Great communication from the owners, and I loved that they stock milk and OJ in the fridge along with cereal and coffee. Lots of board games to play. WiFi is decent and was good enough to stream a movie, though apparently it can be spotty (nothing abnormal for the mountains). Cell service was ok with VZ. The property grounds are great. Unfortunately, we had a cold snap with snow, so we didn’t get to spend as much time outside...
