Denna underbara, lugna lilla stuga är undangömd bakom värdarna hem. Även om det finns andra hem runt stugan kommer du att njuta av känslan av att vara i landet. Träden som omger huset är rikligt och picknickområdet utomhus är perfekt för att njuta av naturen.

Inuti är ett stort öppet vardagsrum och kök som erbjuder lantlig inredning. Vardagsrummet har en bekväm skinnsoffa (även en bäddsoffa) och stora stolar - båda är placerade för att njuta av kabel-TV. Ett fullt utrustat kök är stort och perfekt för de lugna kvällarna när du bara vill bo i! Köket har ett stort kylskåp, spis / ugn och mikrovågsugn. Det finns också ett underbart träbord med plats för fyra.

En drottning släde är i sovrummet toppad med en täcke och dekorativa kuddar. Två korgstolar och ett bord finns i sovrummet för den tystläsningstiden. Badet har dusch. Bakom badrummet finns en tvättmaskin och torktumlare, som är tillgängliga för gästerna.

En underbar höjdpunkt i detta hem är den skärmad verandan precis utanför vardagsrummet. Njut av naturen under alla årstider vid bordet i fyra. Det är inbjudande och väntar på din ankomst.

Amazing host at home away from home

I work at a summer camp in the area, so this was an ideal place to stay for two weeks due to its central location to my camp. Driving in, there are beautiful views with deer everywhere. The cabin is located directly behind the owner's house, but I didn't see them until the end of my stay. The house is spacious, and I felt at home. The kitchen has everything you may need or want. We asked to stay an extra night and even with someone coming the next day, we were quickly accommodated. We woke to news of flooding on July 4, 2025, but with the house a few minutes drive to the river, no flood waters entered the neighborhood (& this home is toward the back of the neighborhood). The owner called us to tell us the highway was closed & allowed us to stay until we were able to safely leave. She asked if we had any food & my husband let her know that we had packed it but shared we had snacks & we'd be okay. A little while later, she brought us groceries from her own home to ensure we would be able to make breakfast, lunch, & dinner. We were so grateful for her care & hospitality and will definitely be back. Not only is this is a great place to stay, but Carolyn is an incredibly kind and accommodating host. Thank you, Carolyn!

Nice Hideaway

A secluded guest house that was very clean and spacious. The screened in back porch was a plus. Deer in the yard. Very quiet and serene. The owner was super nice. Well stocked. We will definitely stay here again.

Birthday getaway

Property was very nice. Everything we needed for cooking. Only thing I didn’t care for were the skylights in the bedroom. I have a tendency to wake up as soon as there’s any light so it was impossible for me to sleep in. But ended our stay very much and will likely be back.

Great Place to Stay!

A very roomy, nice, comfortable place with all you need to have an enjoyable stay. The owners are close by, but we have never actually seen or heard them in the 4 or 5 times we've stayed there. It's a very relaxing time.

Our visit was for nine days.Very cute, cozy, and clean little cabin. Host was very helpful any time we called.Plenty of room. We really enjoyed our visit. This place had everything we needed and was furnished with all kinds of snacks, coffee, hot chocolate, tea, etc. We would definitely stay again if we are ever back in the area. And we really enjoyed watching the deer running around the yard.

Lost in the woods

The house is about a 20 minute drive to Kerrville so it was a little farther out than I expected. However, there is nothing I can suggest to improve the property. It is quiet, comfortable, easy to find and has a full kitchen with laudry.

Great hill country spot!

This spacious spot in the hill country was the perfect place to stay at for a long weekend. The full fridge and stove made it possible to make some meals at the house, the screened in patio provided for some much needed quiet time in the mornings journaling and praying, and the firm bed was SUCH a nice change from all the too soft beds at other rentals. I would definitely visit again!

Great Vacation

We have stayed here several times and have always enjoyed our stay. It's a nice, spacious home with all you need, in a beautiful area. It is located right behind the owner's home, but there is a tall wooden fence that separates them and we haven't ever really heard or ran into the owners. I recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet retreat, but within reach of many places to go see and things to do.

Hidden Gem

This rental went beyond our expectations. The location is hidden behind the owner's own home. Although the shared driveway is narrow, it still left plenty of room to park and unload with no issues. There are deer throughout the property. I do not think it's within walking distance to the river. We chose to drive because of the main road having no shoulder to walk on. It's about a 5 minute drive to the public river parking area. The house was very clean and was very well stocked with necessities. The gas fireplace worked perfectly for our very cold weekend there. There is a Keurig with supplied K-cups of different flavors. There were sodas and water in the refrigerator. We stopped and bought our own groceries and cooked with the supplied pots and pans. There were some spices but I recommend bringing your own preferred spices. The owner's caretaker came to greet us when we arrived and did not see them again the entire weekend. It was a very private weekend. We will definitely stay here again!

R&R at the Dubl-C

I've lost track of how many times we've stayed at the Dubl-C Guest House. We keep coming back because the accommodations are clean, well-stocked with amenities, and situated in one of the most beautiful areas in Texas. We couldn't be more happy with what our hosts provided us. All in all, an extremely enjoyable trip.

Never saw property owner

We never saw the property owner. Their vehicle was blocking the drive way and we had to squeeze beside them in our truck to unload. Other than that lived the snacks and drinks in the cabin for us. It was a nice touch. Everything was extremely clean.

Nice, quiet, little place!

The place is pretty easy to find, easy check in and check out. It was very peaceful, quiet and felt secure. There are lots of deer in the area that were enjoyable to watch. It has a guesthouse feel that is fairly primitive but comfortable. Nothing super fancy, but isn’t that the reason you visit the hill country?

Peaceful place to stay

My husband and I went for a short trip to Fredericksburg. This place is so peaceful and quiet. The snacks, sodas, coffee bar, and soaps in the bathroom were so thoughtful and much appreciated. We loved walking by the river which is so close by and even noticed they have a place to swim during the summer. We may come back just for that. The scenery is gorgeous, and in the morning we saw a baby fawn and her family which made for a great photo session. Overall this was a wonderful stay. The only problem we had was that it was a 45 minute drive from Fredericksburg and we were exhausted by the end of the day so the extra drive kicked our behinds. We loved our trip and our stay either way. Thanks for being awesome Hosts.

Can't be beat for location or price

I hate to tell everyone how much we enjoyed staying at the guesthouse because it may be booked the next time we want to use it. The hosts were so accommodating and thoughtful! They had water, soft drinks and snacks for us. There was a fully stocked coffee bar and the bathroom had toiletries for guests. They even had some breakfast choices for guest in the freezer. The guesthouse was extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. We loved hanging out on the screened in porch watching the deer and birds at the feeder. Downtown Kerrville is just a 10 minute drive and both Bandera and Fredericksburg are both just 20 miles away. We definitely will be staying at this property each time we go to the Texas Hill Country.

Great vacation getaway
