This stylish 4-bedroom, 2.5-bath Hill Country home sits on 6 private acres and offers the perfect blend of upscale comfort and Texas charm. Designed with families in mind, the spacious open-concept layout features a gourmet kitchen, designer touches throughout, and large patio doors that open to a serene terrace overlooking the creek. Savor the views and South Texas breezes from the expansive wraparound porch.
The property also includes a beautifully appointed 2-bedroom, 1-bath guesthouse—ideal for extra space or added privacy. Unwind on the outdoor patio and enjoy a unique Fredericksburg moment as private planes soar quietly overhead.

LOCATION - Located on 6 acres just 4 miles from Main St in Fredericksburg
HOST - You have the home & the cottage to yourselves.
SLEEPS - Up to 15 guests in 6 bedrooms; The main house sleeps 12 in 2 king bedrooms, 1 king bedroom with a queen sofa bed, 1 queen bedroom & 1 full bed (no door) in a common area near the kitchen. The cottage has 1 king bedroom & 1 twin bedroom
BATH - 3.5 baths; The main house has 2.5 baths, 1 with a clawfoot tub & walk in shower & 1 bath with a walk in shower. The cottage has 1 bath with a walk in shower.
KITCHEN - Full gourmet kitchen with a regular coffeemaker

Wow what a great large property perfect for a big group for my birthday weekend in Fredericksburg! We had the best time and really enjoyed all the amenities the place had to offer- fire pit, hot tub, large outdoor space right on the river it was heaven. Lots of prickers in the grass so don’t go barefoot but that’s just the region, had to make sure all the littles we had with us were careful. Wonderful having rocking chairs on the front porch where we sat and enjoyed our coffee in the morning. Everyone agreed the beds were super comfy which is sometimes hit or miss with rental properties so we were very happy with that.Some things that may require attention:Two of the chairs around the fire pit were broken so we just brought some down from the porch. Proximity to the local airfield meant there was some noise from the planes overhead but only during the day. The guest book listed a shuffleboard and ping pong table in the barn but after messaging the host they said they have closed that space off and removed those activities from the listing but it would have been nice to have access to that.It was a tad pricey but all in all I think it was worth it especially for a large group.

Lots of room

We loved it! Lots of room to spread out. Was really clean and well stocked. We saw a lot of deer. The stream was neat to walk to while drinking your morning coffee. The porch swing was a favorite spot. The only thing we thought odd was the bedroom that looks as if it was previously a mud room did not have curtains on door leading to outside. It has a huge glass insert. We solved the issue with towels as the person sleeping in that room felt uncomfortable with it. All the bedrooms had comfortable bedding.

Family Reunion

The house was perfect for our family. Clean, well stocked. We enjoyed our visit. We would have appreciated having an 11am check out but we were out by 10 as was explicitly requested. Otherwise we had a great time.

Vrbo Listing From Hell // Wasp Infested Home

Stay away from Heavenly Host properties. The first house we reserved ( Scimitar Landing Compound) had a broken well pump, so we didn’t have access to water for over half our stay. They moved us to Diamond Y Ranch the next night and upon arrival we discovered both main and guest house were infested with wasps. Multiple wasp colonies of 10+ inside the house…. We found some wasp killer, but there’s an opening somewhere within the house so they kept coming in. Very uncomfortable and unsafe stay. On top of that, there was no cell phone service (which is listed on the property info) but the wifi they provide has one service bar and kicks you off of it. So the wifi was just as bad as having no service. This was our first time renting with this host and Vrbo. Never again. They offered a partial refund for both nights which totaled a 25% refund in relation to what we paid and refused to go any higher than that. Very unprofessional, terrible customer service, and awful property management.

The perfect group getaway!

There were 12 of us that stayed at the home for my 40th birthday and this place could not have been more perfect! Beautiful setting, right on the river with plenty of outdoor seating and the added bonus of a hot tub and fire pit. The main house and adjoining guest house Were the perfect size for our large group. Everyone had enough space and we were really able to relax. The home itself was fully stocked, beautifully designed, and full of neat little touches I would 1000% recommend this rental in fact, we are already looking at dates to book a family getaway. The management answered all of my questions and we’re so helpful!

Get away

The property was great! Lots of room. Clean. Great outdoor space. The lack of an extra bathroom made it slightly challenging. One more bathroom and it would have been perfect. We made it work though.
