OUTDOOR LIVING - Wraparound front porch with a 2 person swing and rocking chairs, private courtyard and patio area with hot tub, covered cabana with outdoor ceiling fan, gas fire pit, gas grill, and comfortable seating provide a relaxing afternoon or evening under the stars.

Built in 1920, this Victorian home has been elegantly remodeled with every attention to detail to provide the ultimate luxurious retreat. Upon arriving, you will see the large original wraparound front porch with two front doors – a unique and historical detail of many Fredericksburg homes. Enjoy an afternoon on the wraparound porch with a charming swing for two as well as rocking chairs where you can enjoy the sounds of birds chirping and calm peaceful surroundings just a few blocks from the hustle and bustle of Main Street.

Step through the front door into the elegant foyer with antique chandelier and custom hardwood oak floors with walnut detail. As you continue to walk through the house, you will feel as if you are stepping back in time with a home that has been filled with a collection of vintage antique pieces mixed with modern art deco luxury and style. Dramatic soaring 12-foot custom embellished ceilings with crown molding and trim detail greet you along with custom stained-glass windows throughout the home.

You will find two elegant bedrooms each with their own en-suite bathroom. Both bedrooms are bedecked in period style furnishings while also adding modern touches such as bedside lamps that have both regular and USB outlets as well as soothing sound machines to ensure a blissful night's rest. Imagine you are stepping back in time as you climb into the high poster beds with luxurious pillowtop comfort. Both beds have step stools on either side of the bed to assist you with climbing up and into soft and cozy comfort. Both bedrooms have custom built in closet armoires for hanging clothes and built-in shelves too.

The primary bedroom includes a bedroom with king bed, a large dressing room with plenty of space for getting ready, and an opulent oversized bathroom. The Carrera marble-filled bathroom includes a large oversized shower with two rain head showers and two handheld shower wands as well as a restored clawfoot antique bathtub that is original to the house. You will enjoy getting ready as you bask in the lighting of two glass chandeliers, custom stained glass window hangings, and dual vanity sinks.

The second bedroom is pure romance and elegance. The beautiful antique chandelier over the bed and the matching antique wall sconces on either side of the fireplace invite you to step back in time and remember the romance of bygone era. The ornately carved fireplace mantle and matching oversized mirror add to the touch of history of the room. The bathroom has been completely renovated abounding with polished marble, a walk-in shower with rain head shower and handheld shower wand.

Both bedrooms have a dedicated vanity space for getting ready featuring magnifying mirrors, hair dryers, and toiletry pouches with shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc. Each bedroom also comes with plush and soft spa robes for your use during your stay.

The open living room area is perfectly set up for a cozy conversation in front of the electric fireplace, while a piano on the other side of the room beckons to be played. The large Wi-Fi enabled 55” Smart TV comes equipped with free Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, ESPN+, and a host of free Samsung Plus movies and shows. The living room flows into an elegant and formal dining room. The large table provides ample space for a sit-down meal and the glass-enclosed hutch showcases several vintage plates, pictures, and ceramics. Pass through the dining room and into the large and spacious full kitchen with a butcher block kitchen island. For those visiting chefs, we have a fully stocked kitchen with two ovens (both gas and electric), a gas 4 burner stove, full size refrigerator with in-door filtered ice and water options, non-stick pans, and all of the necessary cooking utensils necessary to create the ultimate dining experience. We provide a full coffee and tea station with both a traditional 12 cup coffee pot and a Keurig if you prefer just one cup. Our coffee and tea station includes a variety of specialty syrups, sweeteners, cream, and spices to craft the perfect cup. A separate wine fridge is available for storing any special wine bottles you may have picked up in our Texas wine country.

Exit out the side door to a private enclosed courtyard. Here you will find a large hot tub and cabana with a ceiling fan to provide comfort while you relax and enjoy the hot tub. A large multi-burner gas grill is available for guests that may want to cook outside and a gas fire pit with comfortable chairs invite guests to linger and enjoy the courtyard setting while being surrounded by crepe myrtles and pecan trees. The original antique cistern water pump and antique windmill offer you a glimpse into the history of the home when the pump was its only source of water.

House amenities: We offer guest access to our washer and dryer as well as our dishwasher. Pods are provided for both. We also have an iron and in-wall ironing board available for guests to use.

Safety/Security: We have outside exterior security cameras on the front door, courtyard door, garage door, and rear of the garage to monitor access. There are no cameras on any part of the house interior or on the hot tub. The cameras are for security and property management purposes to help us ensure compliance with City rental and fire codes as well as to ensure guest count and that no pets enter the property. The Fire extinguisher, first aid kit, and a flashlight are located under the kitchen sink. Smoke detectors and a carbon monoxide detector are also present in the home.

House Rules:
- Observe the City of Fredericksburg Quiet Hours (10pm to 7am).
- If we are called due to complaints violating Quiet Time: 1st Offense will result in a $250 charge. 2nd Offense will result in an immediate eviction with no refund. Please be aware that during Quiet Hours, no music of any kind is allowed.
- This is a non-smoking property. This extends to all areas of the property – this includes the interior as well as the front porch and courtyard areas. No smoking in any area. This policy also prohibits the use of tobacco, cannabis, e-cigarettes, etc. A $300 charge will be assessed for guests who smoke on property.
- For the safety and health of our guests we do not allow any pets on our property. If an unauthorized pet is brought on the property, a $200 charge will be assessed.
- The City of Fredericksburg is a Dark Sky Community with outdoor lighting restrictions. All outdoor lighting is encouraged to be turned off when no one is present to use the light.
- Observe the designated on-site and off-site parking spaces.
- Place all trash in designated containers.
