Relax and build memories with family and friends at this country home vacation getaway with its large yard, private pool (unheated), and dog-friendly policy (unfenced yard).
Spend your days lounging by the pool and soaking up the sun, or take a short drive to the beach to enjoy the sand and surf.
When the evening rolls around, gather around the outdoor firepit to roast marshmallows and stargaze. There's also a grill BBQ for cooking up delicious meals in the great outdoors. Located just a few miles from the beach and boat ramp!
The space
The large back porch with a private pool sets the stage for casual downtime after the day's adventures. It's fully enclosed, convenient for hanging out, playing games, having an outdoor dinner, and keeps the bugs out!
The outdoor pool is NOT heated. It is open all year round! Enjoy the ambiance around the pool while you spend time on the back patio.
We love dogs, and we know some of you do too! If you're traveling with dogs, please select "I am traveling with pets" when booking. We allow up to two dogs of any size per stay for a fee of $149.

The gorgeous open-concept kitchen is perfect for creating delicious meals while entertaining guests.
Have a seat at the dining table (space for four) and treat the family to a homemade breakfast. Get your caffeine fix using the Keurig coffee maker to energize you for the day ahead!

Sliding glass doors lead from the living room onto a spacious and lit back porch and pool where you can swim and enjoy using the outdoor shower. There’s plenty of seating between the dining table for four and the lounge chairs. Fire up the grill and have a delicious BBQ meal while enjoying the serene outdoor environment and watching wildlife.
The fire pit is the perfect place to gather in the evening. Make some s’mores and tell scary stories, or just admire the beautiful starry night sky.
There are two homes on the property. Main House and Cozy Cottage, the distance between houses is 40ft. You are currently in the Main House. Both houses are available for rental. If you would like to book the Main House along with the Cozy Cottage, you will need to make a separate booking for each home. Please see the details below.

▶There is a fence on the property which separates us from our neighbors on the back part of the property. The sides and front of the property are unfenced.
▶ About The Cozy Cottage next to the main property:
*** Maximum occupancy is 4 guests, with no pool access. If booked together with the main house, the pool is open anytime.

▶ Every Tuesday there is a pool maintenance person to clean the pool for you. It will take a couple of minutes to complete. She will go through the backyard to the pool and will not knock on your door. Every Wednesday the lawn will be mowed.
▶ When you stay with us you’re close enough to all the tourist attractions Destin and Panama City Beach have to offer, but you’re able to leave the crowds behind after the day trip is over. Once you return to your home away from home you can kick up your feet and relax to the sounds of nature, have a swim in the pool, or grill some delicious BBQ. All the homes around you have one acre or more of land, so you can expect peace and quiet during your stay.

We stayed at this Vrbo home to celebrate our daughter’s graduation and had a great experience overall. When we arrived, the grass was a bit overgrown, but the issue was resolved the next day. The home was clean, well-maintained, and stocked with all the essential supplies, which made settling in easy.The decor is simple yet charming, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The beds were extremely soft and comfortable—perfect for relaxing. The pull out sofas were smaller in size but functioned well once pulled out, especially for our group of teens.The highlight of the property is the screened-in pool and patio area. We spent most of our time there—it offered a great space to relax and enjoy the outdoors without bugs. There is a small guest house located nearby (visible in listing photos), but we had no issues with the other guests during our stay.One item to note: we did receive a noise complaint from neighbors when the teens were in the pool area after the 10 p.m. quiet hours. While we couldn’t hear them from inside and they were trying to be respectful, future guests may want to be extra mindful of the noise rules in the evening.The home is located outside of the busy city areas, offering a peaceful environment, but most destinations (beaches, restaurants, etc.) were within a 15–20 minute drive. We would recommend this property for families or groups looking a quiet, comfortable stay.

Amazing!!!!!!
Amazingly clean house. So perfect. Best rental I’ve ever had! Pool is perfect and enclosed. Owners are literally the nicest people. They responded to us so quickly and constantly made sure we had everything we needed. I usually dislike at least one thing at a place we rent…. And I can not think of a single thing I would change at this place. Thank you so much for letting us stay. Best vacation I’ve ever had.

Are we really enjoyed our stay in this perfect size home for our big family, with a screened pool for comfort in the backyard. It was not far from everything you wanted to see at Destin and Fort Walton too

Quiet little house in the woods!
The property was clean and ready when we arrived. The neighborhood is quiet which we really enjoyed. The bedding, while a bit firm, was really comfortable and we slept well. The temperature was too low to really enjoy the pool, but we did enjoy hanging out on the back patio grilling burgers! We wanted a low-key place without all the spring breakers and that exactly what we got. We enjoyed it quite a bit!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Everything was exactly as advertised. It felt very very cozy. The AC did stop working for a day but the host was very responsive and got a technician out there the next day and got it fixed. The host also refunded me a small portion for the inconvenience. Throughout that day, we kept all the fans on and we stayed in the pool to cool off as the pool was cold. So, not having a heated pool ended up working out perfectly for us. What I enjoyed the most was the location. In my opinion, it was very much secluded thus giving us privacy (which my family and I love). The only other thing I can say that would have made this stay more comfortable is having enough toiletry and other household items such as trash bags. We did run out on all of those necessities on day 3 as we were a family of 8 staying for 5 days. So we had to go to the nearest store to buy more. This was not an issue for us, but it definitely would have made for a more comfortable stay. The main stores and restaurants were about 15 minutes away but we enjoyed the ride to them as we were able to see more of the city. With that being said, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and would definitely book this home again in the future!
