Adorable cottage. You will not find a better direct view of Patoka Lake.

  • This is a one story cottage with a raw cedar interior finish offering incredible panoramic views of Patoka Lake. Perfect for enjoying the outdoors and each other. You will not find another place with a comparable view of this body of water. Take the short walk to the water's edge. Sit on the covered front porch with ceiling fans (discourages bugs) to be entertained by the activity of the marina and be wowed by Mother Nature's nightly artistry of sunsets. Spacious boat parking and only 1.5 miles from the Osborne Ramp. A little over 4 miles from Patoka Lake State Park Main Entrance and Patoka Lake Winery. 11 miles to French Lick which features a casino, golf courses, go karts, indoor water park, winery, and restaurants. We are just 25 minutes from Paoli Peaks and 40 minutes to Holiday World. Due to the unique rural location of this property there is no wifi and limited cell service. Depending upon your perspective, this can turn into quite a blessing!!

Perfect getaway

The location is perfect! The place is adorable and super clean. I was tickled by the things they had available in the kitchen and bathroom in case you didn’t have them yourself, that’s really thoughtful and caring. We were grateful it was so easy to stay here having brought a boat and there being room to park it. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Secluded with a great view

My wife and I stayed here in mid October and the lake view with the leaves changing color was amazing! We will keep this location in mind for other weekends.

Amenities are above board Loaction Secluded no High Traffic Within the perimeter of Hoosier National Park & Forest 8800 acres of freshwater for boating skiing fishing birdwatching etc. Restaurant Food and Camping Supplies near by. Perfect Getaway

Great View

We loved the view and the sunsets. The cottage is a neat clean little place in a great semi isolated location. Cell service can be a little off and on, but we are usually looking to disconnect for a while. We would definitely staythere again.

Weekend Getaway

The property was perfect for our little getaway! It was clean, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed. The view was beautiful of the lake! The location was centralized for visiting both Patoka Lake and French Lick. Dan was prompt in getting back to us, whenever we had a question. We would definitely stay there again!

Great Location

Dan was great. The property is very conveniently located. It's clean and has all the necessary amenities. No Wi-Fi but he makes that very clear in the listing. So be prepared to be off the grid or have a better phone provider than AT&T. We will be back.

I truly appreciate every extra effort taken to insure our stay was comfortable. The book made to learn about the area & things to do/attractions to see, cold water bottles, hair dryer (I forgot mine) and other extras were very helpful. I plan to visit again. Thank you!
