“This place could really use some updating, the fridge hummed loudly off and on all day, I found many hairs on the bed, only the two smallest burners worked and whoever was in the room above me constantly walked back and forth all day & night! And I have yet to receive my damage deposit as today and I checked-out on Saturday April 18th!”

“Clean!!!! This is our most important criteria for an accommodation and this place is clean!!! The owner is very nice and helpful, making you feel comfortable right away. One thing to improve is to add policy (and sign) for guests to be quiet after certain hours. We had a group coming in at 2am and started sitting in the common room, talking, laughing until 3am. It was pretty frustrating. Overall, great stay! Did we say clean? ”

“We booked this for our mini honeymoon the three nights following our wedding (end of Sept) and were excited to stay in the King Suite. But ended up being quite disappointed. The room was very cold with no heat and the front desk person wasn't the nicest when we asked for extra blankets. We weren't expecting the red carpet but at least a "thanks so much for choosing to stay here for your honeymoon". Some of the staff were great but generally no one cared that we had chose Dalvay for our honeymoon...

“The Inn is beautiful! We were greeted my the owner when we arrived. The room was beautiful and I have to mention that the bed was extremely comfortable. The inn is very clean A+ and conveniently located to the downtown. The room had everything we needed and very secure and safe! The decor is beautiful Victoria style, a favourite of mine. The owner greeted us downstairs in the morning to direct us to the dining area. Breakfast was included with many great choices (eggs, bacon, fruit, breads,...
