We included a wine tasting and ate dinner at the hotel so it was almost 24 hours of relaxation and enjoyment where we did not leave the vineyard grounds at all. The pool is gorgeous and the staff are warm and courteous. Highly recommend during a month when you are able to enjoy the pool!”

What bothered my husband & me was the hotel wanted to charge for everything. We were charged extra to use the safe in the room! They wanted to charge us to get a new pool towel each day! They expect you to use the same wet, sweaty towel the next day or get charged for a new one. They charge you 20 euro to get 2 chairs & an umbrella on the beach! I could go on & on.

“We had a very positive experience at Tramonto Ibleo. The property is new, very clean, and extremely well planned. The rooms are comfortable, the beds are excellent, and the overall structure feels thoughtful and welcoming. The view of the mountains from the hotel is absolutely beautiful and adds to the charm.

“Exceptional Ragusa experience! When we booked this property we did not know much about it as there were only 22 reviews. However, it turned out to be one of our most memorable and enjoyable stays during our 2 week trip around Sicily. The property is in a beautifully maintained historical family Palazzo. The beautiful historical furniture and artifacts contribute to the unique accommodations. Our room was an upgraded suite which was very comfortable and spacious. ”

"For anyone who didn’t look at all the photos of this hotel, you’ll be staying in a petrol station, on the main road leading to Modica. While we could have looked through to image 25 and the satellite images, we had unfortunately not done so this time (but will be sure to do so in the future).
This was the start to a stay that left a lot to be desired. Cleaning at this supposedly 4 star property apparently does not involve ensuring that the bathroom is stocked with soap and schampoo. Neither does it involve removing dirty dishes (coffee cups provided by the hotel) nor does it involve changing visibly dirty bed linen. Just making the bed up as is and putting the dishes on the side is enough here.
The hotel also claim to have a private beach. We were sent on a wild goose chase by the front desk to find said beach, only to find that the place they sent us to didn’t exist, and once we had managed to find this supposedly private beach, it was indeed very private, but not for the guests of this hotel - but rather for guests staying at their separate hotel located on the beach.
All in all, this is a fantastic hotel if you want to spend your holiday keeping track on those who runs from their bill at the gas station. "
