So lovely and quaint! Having appetizers in the afternoon/evening is like staying at a bed and breakfast and conversing with everyone booked there too. The staff goes out of their way to make everything comfortable and enjoyable. Walking the town of Frisco is right out the foor.

Very charming, room for improvement
The lodge is very charming. I would not be surprised if this is the best accommodation in Frisco. As a 3-star hotel, it meets expectations. However, there are a few things they can improve on. The heat in the main lodge is turned up way too high, making it difficult to sleep. I appreciate that it’s a family business. I would hope that business expenses would include baby sitting, so that the associates don’t have to bring a toddler to work with them while they are sick and coughing profusely. There are many guests packed in a small building. I’m sure none of them would appreciate getting sick when they return home.

The property was older but everything worked. Beds were comfortable, walls were thick (did not hear the people in next room) Besides regular heating there was a fake fireplace heater so you could control the temperature easily. Great water pressure in shower. Very clean. Lobby was cozy with a nice free happy hour with wine and food. Hot tub was sparkling clean. We could walk to everything. Our car was parked right outside our room. There was an excellent German Pub next door with great beer on tap and Bratwurst etc… We would stay here again.

It feels like you are staying at your grandparent's house. They serve breakfast every morning and have a small afternoon meal with wine if you're around to enjoy it. The lodge is about 15min from Breckenridge and maybe 20-30 from Vail. 1 hr from Denver (2 with post Skiing traffic) and 2.5 from Colorado Springs. It really was incrsdibly cute and the staff were very nice.

An excellent place to stay.
This hotel has been opened since 1885. It is tastefully decorated to the max with period decor-quite impressive. Staff super nice, included a custom order breakfast, complimentary wine at happy hour and very comfortable beds. Excellent restaurants in walking distance.

Louis, thank you for enjoying the history of the Frisco Lodge. The main lodge has been here since 1885 and the N Lodge since 1966 we have kept the decor and the feel of the lodge in a bygone era. I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay and we hope you will return mamy times.

The decor was very nice and the outside seating area was inviting. I guess I thought when spending 3 nights @ $300/night our bed might get made, our trash emptied and be given more than two towels. I wouldn't expect to have to ask for everything at this price point. Also, for their wine and Hors-d'oeuvres...apparently if you don't drink wine you are out of luck. We asked the young man serving wine if we could have a can of La Croix water from the fridge ($1) since we didn't drink wine. He told us "yes." After returning from dinner and walking around the town the young man met us at the door and said he was sorry but we needed to pay $2 for the 2 cans of water he told us we could have. Seriously!!! We paid the $2 but definitely will not be returning to this place.

Hi, thanks for staying. Because of COVID and other preferences, a lot of guests do not want automatic housekeeping. We provide it at no charge and prefer notification the night before for staffing purposes. We also prefer all requests to go through the front desk for accuracy. I believe we did provide housekeeping after all and you should not have been charged for the water. I wish you would have let me know then that you were charged for the water.

I absolutely loved staying here. It’s very charming, and is more quaint and nicer than how the photos portray. The evening happy hour and included breakfast are a huge bonus! The staff was very personable and friendly. This hotel exceeded my expectations and was very memorable for me.

Cute Hotel
Was very nice, nice happy hour, extremely pleasant staff, good breakfast. Room was a little warm as we came in the summer but noticed several places don’t have A/C. Part of mountain living as it does cool at night.

Best stay we’ve had in long time.
This place was amazing, particularly hospitality-wise. There was happy hour and breakfast included with the stay and free bike rentals. The staff was super accommodating and the location couldn’t be beat!

This historic lodge is very charming and a great location to many ski areas. The included breakfast and wine ands cheese events are terrific - the rooms however are tired and in need of updates, with new beds, new bed covers and updated bathrooms.

Hi Michael, thank you for staying. I guess the decoration theme does not work for you. All the carpet, bedding, and mattresses are three years old or less and the owner decided to keep the comfortable 1885 "Grandma's House" Bed and Breakfast theme going. We do plan some work in the bathrooms.
