Five Star Host, Amazing location!
New to booking through VRBO (and initially a bit nervous), we could not have been in better hands than host Marion. From the start, Marion answered all our (many) questions and provided great tips for our nearly month long stay. Her cozy unit is exactly as advertised, and while smaller, we knew that going in and were mostly on the deck overlooking the beautiful ocean. The double and single beds were comfortably firm (which we like) and Marion truly went the extra mile for us! There are so many comforts of home - shopping cart, air fryer and an electric juicer! If you need to work, the internet was fast and reliable for meetings. We were able to stream Prime, AppleTV & Netflix. The location of Stella Maris cannot be beat…no issues with water pressure/hot water, and for a 12 story building there were 4 lifts. The whole area of Fuengirola and Los Boliches is flat, safe and walkable. It is situated between Fuengirola and Los Boliches train stations. It might be a little closer to the Los Boliches stop but in any case about a 15-20 min walk to either. The property is in front of the beach, separated only by a road and 8 km boardwalk, with bike lanes. Right behind the property (a short block behind) is a Mercado (supermarket) with almost anything needed. It is a 6 min walk to the Tues and Sat markets, with an easy walk to bus/train. Buses were easy…make sure to go to Mijas! All in all, such a great time and we sure appreciated how Marion took care of us every step of the way!

An oasis of tranquility
We had a fabulous stay in Marion's apartment. It was immaculately clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The beds were really comfortable and ensured we slept perfectly. The shower was powerful - almost therapeutic. We cooked quite a bit - making full use of the microwave, airfryer and hot plates. One of the best things about the apartment is the location - directly overlooking the beach and esplanade. We enjoyed many evenings eating and drinking on the balcony, taking full advantage of the spectacular sunsets. We were a few minutes walk from Mercadona, which sold a wide range of fresh and convenience food and a full range of groceries. We discovered an absolute gem just around the corner - the Makati Japanese restaurant and take away - fantastic food. Even 'though Los Boliches/ Fuengirola is a hive of activity with lots to see and do, we found Marion's apartment to be a peaceful retreat - quiet and relaxing. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

Best Location
A wonderful studio apartment on the beachfront of Fuengirola. Clean and hospitable. Owner takes great pride in her property and is always responsive to any queries in a very prompt and friendly manner. Excellent value for your money.

A pleasant relaxing holiday
My 19 year old daughter and I had a lovely time at this lovely clean, spacious studio. With it’s large double bed and also a very comfortable single bed, we had no problem getting a great nights sleep. With the beach just across the road plus a heated swimming pool at the hotel as well, we were spoiled for choice. The very friendly staff also made our stay very enjoyable. Everything is close to you including a large supermarket which is 3 minutes away. Great studio, great location, lovely food and excellent weather. What more do you need?👍

Perfect Appartment for a relaxing holiday
The accommodation was perfect for our holiday. Everything was inside and the description of the appartment was 100% correct. The view to the sunrise in the morning was a dream and the fact that the beach is only across the road was perfect. Communication with Marion was great and easy. Everything went smoothly especially with check-in and check-out. Marion was very friendly and always took care and inquired. She is a great host. Thank you again for everything. We enjoyed our holiday and will definitely come back again.

Week stay in July
My wife and I absolutely loved staying in this accommodation. The studio had a fantastic view and had most things you could want or need on your hiliday. The sun chairs were a nice touch. The communication between us and the host was always swift and informative. We would not hesitate to use this studio again.

Perfect location with amazing sea view, super shower & comfy beds!
Marion was a perfect hostess. Her studio apartment is very clean, compact and comfortable. The view from the balcony is spectacular. Located on the second floor there was never a need to use the lift. Tv was great to have choice of english channels. Wifi was perfect. Safe povided too which gave peace of mind. Bathroom was small but the shower was SUPER! Lots of towels provided. Deck chairs for the beach, but beds on beach are available at €6.50 per day. Beds are very comfortable, memory foam mattresses and lots of pillows. This apartment is very well equipped, lots of adapters provided so no need to bring any. Air conditioning is very effective and runs very quietly so doesn't interfere with tv or sleep! Staff at reception were very polite and friendly. Marion's place is just perfect and we loved staying there. We hope to return!

Séjour parfait. L’appartement est conforme aux descriptions et est très bien situé face à la mer. Marion, la propriétaire est à l’écoute et très réactive. Des petites attentions envers le locataire ont été très appréciées. Tout est fait pour qu’on y soit à l’aise. Beaucoup de commerces, bars et restaurants à proximité. Le centre de Fuengirola est proche. Il n’y a pas de parking privé mais il est possible de se garer au parking souterrain à 5 min à pied pour 18€/jour et possibilité de réserver à la semaine.

Translation Guest Review: Fuengirola stay Perfect stay. The apartment conforms to the descriptions and is very well located facing the sea. Marion, the owner is attentive and very responsive. Small attentions towards the tenant were very appreciated. Everything is done to make it comfortable. Lots of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. The center of Fuengirola is close. There is no private parking but it is possible to park in the underground car park 5 min walk away for 18€/day and possibility to book by the week. ------- Host Reply: For some reason, I just see your review today 15/7/23 ! Fantastisk strandlejlighed med det smukkeste udsigt
Har flere gange lejet denne skønne strandlejlighed. Udsigten er fantastisk - der er alt hvad man har brug for af køkkenudstyr i lejligheden. Lejligheden ligger tæt på supermarkedet Mercadona og der ligger rigtig mange gode restauranter indenfor 1 km. Jeg vil give min allerbedste anbefaling. Kommer helt sikkert tilbage igen. Everything great about this studio. Perfect location and lovely to wake up with a view of the ocean. 24 hour reception which made me feel safer. Wonderful gastrobar downstairs who are friendly and you feel fine sitting alone. First rate communication with host...I will definitely return..

Home from home
We have stayed here before Marion is a superb host forgot to thank her for gift when we checked in much appreciated First thing that catches your eye is the view stunning you can sit there and watch the world go bye The apartment is spot on everything you need is there we called it our home from home as we knew where everything was Shops and restaurants minutes away either side The best compliment I can give Marion and her place is I have already asked her for availability in 2023 So I would give it 10/10 for a perfect place for a holiday stay can’t say any better than that Paul & Anne

Lovely studio spotlessly clean very central to restaurants bars supermarkets, owner Marion very helpful nothing is a bother to her always on hand for any advice needed have stayed here several times would not dream of staying anywhere else cannot rate this property or owner enough for all the advice and kindness.

Great place to stay!
Cant fault this apartment and location on my visit to Fuengirola. Spotlessly clean, everything you will ever need is at hand, great views from the balcony and comfortable bed. Not to mention the first class service and communication from Marion who made the trip painless for this solo traveler. Thank you Marion, if and when i return i won't hesitate to get in touch. Granddaughters Delight
Stayed for 6 nights with our granddaughter. She loved the apartment and the setting and the views. Great studio apartment, well equipped and easy to reach from local train or bus stations. Marion is a wonderful owner/host. Great communications before and during stay.

Perfect little studio with fabulous views
Just had 2weeks in this lovely little Studio, check in was simple, The Studio was very clean and had everything you need to help you enjoy your holiday, it's in the perfect spot on the Promenade just between fuengirola and los Boliches, The view is amazing, you can just sit on the balcony and people watch or just watch the beautiful sunrise and sunset, loads of Bars and great restaurants almost on your doorstep. There is also a big supermarket around the corner. Marion the owner is always just a phone call away at anytime. We had a lovely time. Thank you Marion From Roly and Trish.

This is the second time I have stayed here and can honestly say it has everything you need for your holiday the view is perfect Marion the owner is a pleasure to deal with any questions she will answer straight away been coming to this area for 23 years and for a couple this is an excellent studio everything close at hand will be back again

Lovely apartment
The compact studio apartment is brilliant.The location is fantastic with breathtaking views overlooking the beach. The studio was exceptionally clean on arrival and contained everything needed for a two week stay especially the air con. Everything is close by including the Mercadona, restaurants and the station. Marion communicates very well at every stage We are already looking at dates for next year.

Best studio in Stella Maris
I've stayed in Stella Maris many times and this was the best studio I ever stayed at there. The terrace and the views to the beach and the promenade are spectacular. The studio is Modern and with live colors, it has everything you need for a hassle free stay and Marion has been very attentive and helpful. The beds are very comfortable. Location is great, close to Los Boliches train station which we walked from and took us like 10 minutes. There is a mercadona supermarket just a few steps away which is well stock and sells wine/alcohol. The bar/restaurants in the lobby serves good food and drinks, and it's open until late. From the studio you can walk to anywhere in Fuengirola and the promenade. I will stay in Marion's studio always that I can.

Lovely very good
Perfect position .I enjoyed my stay here as I had breakfast and light meals on balcony looking out at the Med.Property was very clean and enough towels to do a hundred guests !!.Marion was in touch to know if I wanted a later church out which was helpful. I would stay there again

Flott, kompakt studioleilighet med flott utsikt. Du finner absolutt alt du trenger her. Til og med noen basisvarer og drikke i kjøleskapet! Det er rent og velholdt. Er du lang, er dette ikke stedet for deg, da sengene er korte. Beliggenheten er rett på stranda, og med oppvarmet basseng er dette også et flott sted om vinteren. Nydelig mat i kafeen rett under leiligheten. Litt støy fra gate og leiligheter rundt må påregnes. Anbefales varmt!

Nice, compact studio apartment with great views. You will find absolutely everything you need here. Even some basic items and drinks in the fridge! It is clean and well maintained. Are you tall, this is not the place for you, as the beds are short. The location is right on the beach, and with a heated pool this is also a great place in the winter. Lovely food in the cafe right below the apartment. A little noise from the street and apartments around must be expected. Highly recommended!" I'm glad you found the bed sufficiently comfortable - the double bed is the normal standard EU size 135x190- happily for the extra tall people there is no "end" at the bed so room to stretch !! Indeed, the food is lovely in De Kroon cafe on the ground floor as are the cocktails !! I also especially enjoy the spacious heated pool as well - I love lying out by the beach also or walking on the promenade !!!

fantastic beachfront location, central to everything you need
Had a great week and Marion makes sure everything is there that u need. Could not believe the amount of supplies that were there for use from needle and thread, all the toiletries u need, tea, coffee,sugar,salt, pepper. Loads of cleaning provisions, towels, bags etc. We would not hesitate to recommend this appartment and Marion keeps in touch to make sure everything is in order. The bed was so comfy you sleep like a baby and having English channels to watch on TV was great. Loads of nice restaurants to eat and drink and prices were good. Had a lovely relaxing week in a great appartment thank you Marion

stayed 11 days in the studio apartment.Great beach front view ,easy to access from Fuengirola station or los Boliches..The place was very clean and tidy with good air conditioning and space.and well equipped.Marion was great in keeping contact from the beginning booking through to our departure.This has been a wonderful holiday.

Another wonderful stay at marions delightful cosy studio apartment .
Amazing views of the sea from the balcony, sudio has everything you need 5th time there and booked again !!!. Very clean tidy on arrival near shops station and restaurants In abundance. Marion great to deal with and reception staff friendly and helpful now think of it as my little heaven on earth!!! Good value luv luv luv it june from surrey
