Staff=GREAT! Never ever met so friendly staff. Room and hotel in general very nice. The pools are way too cold! Food is OK, it is a little tasteless, more spices please :) However good selection and always fresh.

We are sorry that the swimming pool was not warm enough for you and have noted your comment, although we would like to take the opportunity to explain that from November until May they are heated between 24º and 26ºC. Furthermore, we are sorry to read that our buffet offer did not meet your expectations in terms of flavor, our Chefs strive to impress our guests with high standards and the possibility to savour the best of our local cuisine as well as a great selection of international delights. However as we receive guests of all nationalities and ages, we try not to over spice the dishes in order to please all palates, for this reason there is a wide spice station included in our buffet for our guests to help themselves and season their dishes to their liking. A little way to the beach but convenient for the main strip and shops.Has a good write up but we didn’t think it was that good.The room (double with terrace) was ok but really quite basic.The restaurant was ok but not really that Special ,more like a large canteen.The breakfast options were very good but was not impressed with the evening Buffett .Pool area was fine with lots of chairs etc In summary OK but have stayed in many better 4 star hotels in Spain and would not recommend this one

Only book IF VERY CHEAP!
First I want to say that the staff is very polite and kind - the staff, for me, is the only positive thing on the stay. Hotel was FULL of cockroaches - everyday was many dead at our corridor and balcony - one even made inside the bedroom. To use the spa is not free - you must pay Food, do not book half-pension. For me the food was like cheap all you can eat buffet/cantine. Even from the warm buffet was cold sometimes. They had this rule for not reservation of sunbeds at the pool, but people did not respect and employee at the pool did not do anything about it - he just ignored it.

We have in place a regular pest-control plan and of course work hard on a daily basis to avoid their presence within our grounds, however at certain times of the year, depending on the climatology of Fuerteventura, the presence of insects is unfortunately unavoidable. Furthermore, cockroaches need food, water, warmth and shelter for survival and this is why we have a very strict policy forbidding the taking of food from our restaurant and we also encourage our guests not to leave any food or crumbs in their rooms in order to avoid their settlement in our accommodations and we ask that you please accept our sincerest apologies for the inconveniences caused to you and your family.We also appreciate your insights regarding our buffets. Our Chefs strive to offer a range of local and international dishes and all trays of our buffets are being constantly checked by our kitchen staff to ensure that the temperature of the food is adequate and that all options are being replenished throughout all services. Nevertheless please rest assured that your comments will be shared with the team so as to avoid receiving this kind of feedback in the future. We also apologize for any misunderstanding concerning the pool's sunbed policy; we aim for all guests to enjoy the amenities fairly and advice our guests with notes on the tables at our main restaurant relaying on our guests to follow the policy and not having to enforce it by our team. Perfect Location
Really nice Hotel, clean and very comfortable, friendly staff. Wide choice of food and drink. Perfect location for beaches and shopping, Restaurants and bars are all very close. We have been coming to Corralejo for the last 8 years, and this Hotel will be our choice again next year.

We stayed at Barcelo for 4 nights in November. We did a child free trip and it was amazing. The staff cannot do enough to help you. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. The pools are great. The location is perfect. I cannot fault it and we will definitely be coming back here again. An absolute dream!

There were cockroaches in our room which we bought to the attention of management we were given a complementary dinner which was appreciated but we then had to call housekeeping as the bath towels were not clean which she agreed with and we later saw Cockroach in the main lobby and around the pool area.

El personal del hotel muy agradable y dispuesto a ayudarmos en todo lo que necesitamos. La habitación amplia, lno le pongo toda la puntuación a la limpieza porque uno de los muebles tenia bastantes manchas. La habitación tenia una terraza con un tendal pequeño, una mesa y dos sillas que estaba bien pero no tenia nada que lo separase de la zona de paso común lo cual quita toda la privacidad. El bufet libre bastante bien, mejor el desayuno que la cena pero por el precio que tenia lo volvería a coger.

Wonderful hotel, with a great kids pool, lots of acitivites for the whole family, spacious rooms. The highlight was the buffet breakfast and dinner. Delicious options, and the Mexican themed dinner one evening was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend this hotel - really well placed in the town on Corralejo.

Très bel hôtel en ville
Très bel hôtel en centre ville et proche de toutes commodités à pied. Très belle chambre (Deluxe avec jacuzzi privé) avec une terrasse et un jacuzzi privé mais la terrasse reste ouverte sur un grand espace partagé avec les autres chambres voisines et disposant de plusieurs transats matelassés. Le personnel de l'hôtel est extrêmement aimable et attentionné. Les demandes particulières comme un grand lit sont respectées. Le restaurant, sous forme de buffet, pour le soir et le petit-déjeuner est très bien fourni et varié, (Attention : les boissons ne sont pas comprises). Petits bémols : la piscine est inaccessible car les gens jettent leurs serviettes sur les transats dès le matin et plus aucun transat de disponible rapidement et gros problème d'insonorisation au niveau de la porte de la chambre qui fait que vous entendez tout ce qui se passe dans le couloir surtout tard le soir et tôt le matin.

Nach 2 Jahren Aussetzer zurück in Fuerteventura
Wir haben zum ersten mal im Barcelo Corralejo Sands logiert (9-Nächte). Ein Kompliment ist dem Personal zu machen, welches jederzeit sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit ist. Die Anlage ist grundsätzlich ordentlich, sauber und gewartet. Der Vorteil ist die Lage direkt im Zentrum von Corralejo. Die Infrastruktur lässt aber zu wünschen übrig (Gym, SPA, Restaurants). Die Zimmer und auch der Rest sind spartanisch zweckerfüllend eingerichtet. Insbesondere hat das Hotel keine Aufenthaltsbereiche wo man sich nach dem Essen noch etwas gemütlich hinsetzen kann. Das separate Restaurant/Bar ist schlecht frequentiert und man sitzt da oft als Einzigster. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist kontinental reichhaltig und in guter Qualität. Hingegen wiederholt sich das Abendessen nach ein paar Tagen und ist nicht gerade einfallsreich. Die Qualität ist akzeptabel. Wir haben trotz Halbpension einige male im Städtchen gegessen um etwas Abwechslung zu erhalten. Was überhaupt nicht passte, ist dass sowohl für den Garagenplatz und den Safe! eine Tagesgebühr anfällt. Das für die Nutzung des Zimmersafe Kosten anfallen habe ich tatsächlich auf der ganzen Welt noch nie erlebt. Das ist klares no-go.

Mit dem Ziel, unseren Gäste die wichtigsten Artikel bereit zu stellen, wurde bei der Auswahl in Betracht gezogen, welche Artikel von den verschiedenen Gästetypen, die wir in unserem Hotel begrüßen, am meisten gefordert werden. Seien Sie jedoch informiert, dass wir über andere Artikel verfügen, die der Gast während seines Aufenthalts anfordern kann. Ihre Bemerkungen zu Ihrer Erfahrung bei den Mahlzeiten haben wir uns sehr zu Herzen genommen und bedauern aufrichtig zu lesen, dass wir Ihren kulinarischen Erwartungen nicht entsprochen haben. Wir möchten bei dieser Gelegenheit jedoch unterstreichen, dass unsere Chefkochs alle zwei Wochen einen neuen Menüplan aufstellen, mit einer vielseitigen Auswahl an regionalen und internationalen Köstlichkeiten. Diese ist den verschiedensten Ernährungsansprüchen angepasst, denn wir sind bestrebt, selbst die anspruchsvollsten Gaumen zu kitzeln. Es tut uns leid, dass Sie vor Ihrer Ankunft nicht über die zusätzlichen Serviceleistungen (Safe, Minibar ...) informiert wurden. Wir versuchen unseren Gästen bei er Buchung die einfachste und günstigste Option zu bieten, je nach Wunsch und Bedarf können diese dann die gewünschten Extra-Serviceleistungen hinzubuchen. Bon choix de séjour à Corralejo
Nous sommes revenus ravis de notre séjour au Barcelo Corralejo Sands. La chambre est parfaite : grand lit très confortable, oreillers idem, douche pluie très agréable, balcon avec table et chaises, et tout cela très propre. Concernant la nourriture, que ce soit au petit déjeuner ou au diner, le choix est très varié, ce qui permet à tout un chacun de trouver son bonheur :) Le personnel est efficace et avenant. L'hôtel est très bien situé dans le centre. Pour 7 euros l'aller, on peut aller dans les grandes dunes en taxi. Je conseille donc vivement cet hôtel.

The hotel is ideally situated to shops, restaurants, bars and beaches. The rooms are modern and clean. We couldn't get a good wifi connection in our room although it was close to reception so that was disappointing. We had booked a room with a hot tub but on arrival we were told it wasn't available. Disappointing, but the receptionist did offer us an upgrade to a suite and free use of the wellness suite all week which was completely acceptable. We did have cause for complaint during our stay regarding maid service, and this was noted and when we arrived back to our room that day we had been left a note from the Guest Services Manager to apologise along with a bottle of cava on ice with a lovely dish of fresh fruit. We thought that was a lovely gesture and shows they truly care about their guests having a good experience. Pools lovely, wide choice of buffet food at breakfast and dinner. Overall very accommodating and enjoyed our stay very much.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Man hat uns ein Upgrade des Zimmers gemacht. Herzlichen Dank .Aussicht auf den Swimming Pool, wo jeden morgen bereits um 8.00h die Liegestühle mit den Badetüchern belegt wurden, die Leute jedoch erst gegen 10.00h auftauchten. Schade! Das Frühstücksbuffet war hervoragend. Grosse Auswahl.

We spent a week at this hotel and we felt very safe during the COVID-19 pandemic as the social distancing measures were in place and everyone was required to wear a mask around the hotel. The hotel is located walking distance from Las Palmeras shopping centre and all restaurants. The only thing we did not like about the hotel was that we had booked a double and were expecting a double bed but instead we had twin beds joined together.

Pues tuve la sensación de estar en un Ibis pero pagando 4 veces mas. El personal muy bien, muy agradables y atentos. La habitación tipo Ibis, pero cama muy cómoda. Limpieza regular, el suelo parecía que solo le pasaban un agua, las ranuras entre placas del suelo estaban bien negras. El desayuno de calidad baja.

Not worth the price
I can't say that this is a 4 star hotel. The food was not very good. The wifi reception was terrible. There wasn't much service offered. One day we were woken up early in the morning because someone was moving our patio furniture (and moving our personal belongings) to paint our balcony. While we were there, sleeping. There was an incredible amount of noise made so we had no choice but to get out of bed. When we asked the hotel about it, they made it seem like they were not aware that someone was painting our balcony during our stay. The hotel is not bad but it's not 4 stars and it's not worth the 9.2 rating it has.
