“Went here 2017 and fell in love. This time it seems like this hidden gem is no longer hidden, since there were a lot of foreign tourists. But that seems to have given an extra boost! It seems like many aspects has improved, like another outdoor onsen on floor 5 that is fantastic, a small souvenir shop as well as swapping to a buffet style breakfast.
Ten-Yu is amazing, as well as the service. The staff were very kind and accommodating, and since I was a returning guest, me and my company also...

The staff working in the restaurant, both during breakfast and dinner, were incredibly helpful, kind, and forthcoming when trying to converse. The homely feel of the room could be felt by these staff members, making the stay feel cozy throughout. “Dormy Inn gives life and reason to visiting Mishima. We love staying here during our annual trips too Japan. We got upgraded without any mention of it and the cleaning ladies are always so sweet and welcoming whenever we see them. Beautiful view of Mt Fuji both from our room and from the Onsen bath. Delicious breakfast and welcoming staff. 10/10!”

“This place is a great place to enjoy a private onsen and nice staff. Be ready to to hike from Gora station to the hotel. Its a bit of a steep hill. I would recommend catching a short taxi. ”
“What a wonderful place! It had everything we needed and more. It was so cool to have a telescope on the balcony! The hosts really thought of everything: a starlight lamp in the bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, an electric barbecue, and an onsen with a view of Mt. Fuji – we could just sit there and stare. The hotel is about 200 meters from the bus stop for Odawara, and there’s a Seven‑Eleven right across the street. I would definitely return without hesitation.”
