Awesome Stay
We had a great experience at modern vintage. Loved the place and area. Spend some time at Disneyland and it's a very manageable and short drive away. The place was clean, organized and exactly as advertised. The owners were also very responsive and ensured we had everything we needed. Would love to stay here again some time.

Adorable apartment in a three-plex
We had a lovely stay in this adorable apartment. It is part of a gorgeous older home that has been split into three apartments. It is situated in a very nice neighborhood, in the town of Fullerton. We were able to walk to local cafes and shops. I recommend this to families looking for a safe and quiet place to stay in Orange County.

Nice neighborhood, close so Disneyland
We had a nice time at this rental. It was clean, well stocked, and easy to find. Location was good and it was close to shopping and restaurants (driving distance). This is a triplex but we only heard neighbors once. There are 2 flights of stairs to go up once you park your car so carrying groceries and luggages may be difficult for some. Everything in the unit worked well and the couch was comfy. The beds were also comfortable but the pillows were really round and hard to sleep on. We bring our own pillows though. There is no lock on the bedroom door (at least that we could find) which may be important if you need privacy from the kiddos.

We had a fantastic stay!
We had a great stay at the Modern Vintage apartment. The design and decor is so nice and charming and really made our short stay special. It was really nice and clean and comfortable and the location was perfect. We easily got out to Disney, the Angels stadium for the baseball and downtown area for loads of food choices. The street itself is also lovely. Communication with Shannon and Ken was spot on too. Excellent hosts. Would love to stay again one day. Thanks so much!

Great Rental
Really enjoyed this cute house! Easy access to LA and Disneyland. We used uber to get to/from Disneyland and it worked out great. Highly recommend this home!

Beautiful neighborhood
Hilltop is a very clean, cute, comfortable place to stay. We are local but in between moving out of state. Just needed a spot close so my son could finish out his 5th grade year. So nice to have all the amenities! All the beds and sheets were very clean. Thanks Ken & Shannon.

Simply A Beautiful Property
This is our second time staying here and we will absolutely be staying again. First, the location is in a picturesque historic neighborhood, with very quick access to downtown Fullerton and other meals and activities. Disney is 15 minutes away and Knottsberry Farm is not far away. The house was built in 1939, and simply lovely. There are 2 other unites as part of the property but it is quiet and peaceful. If you have downtime at the home, some time outside will reward you with calm, beautiful landscaping and sounds of birds. Oh and squirrels are abound for your amusement. Don’t think twice as you book, then you’ll be greeted by owners in a personal message that will make you and your family feel as welcome as one of their own.

Great space 20 mins from Disney
Modern Vintage is a great place to stay and is exactly as listed. It's quaint, cozy, very clean and well equipped. Shannon, the owner and host, has thoughtfully provided all the essentials plus a few extra, really nice details (bottled water, coffee, cocoa, popcorn, spices). Communication and check in was easy and the additional detail Shannon provided on parking, map to the unit, etc. were super helpful in finding our way in the dark. Overall, we had a really nice visit and loved our stay! PS - One heads up for future renters. Check out is at 10 am and this is clearly stated everywhere! I mistakenly had 11 am in mind until the day before we were scheduled to leave when I was rereading the checkout policy. They couldn't accommodate a later check out as the housekeepers require advance notice. Not a big deal but something to plan for if you are like us and tired after a long day at the park.

Charming & Magical
I need to state first off that I did not have any notifications on, so I did not see the additional check-in requirements for the unit, so I made things a bit last minute/inconvenient for our hosts, but they were so understanding and accommodating. This is one unit in a triplex and is so charming. There are a lot of details remaining from the 40's and it was very cozy and relaxing. The owners left so many wonderful amenities that really saved us when we realized we forgot a few items. The location is great - a short trip to Disney, restaurants, shopping, etc. I can't say enough wonderful things about our stay. Thank you so much for making our trip memorable and comfortable.

Very Pleasant Stay
We have a lovely stay at the property in Fullerton which was a good base to visit the many attractions the area has to offer. Fullerton itself was also a nice place. The property was very clean and fully equipped. The hosts were very helpful and responsive.

Totally charming!
We loved Modern Vintage, so very charming in every way. Very clean and had every little thing we needed. The air conditioning worked great! Nice that there was an outdoor area for eating outside. Quiet neighborhood.

Great stay
We had a great time at this property! We brought our kids and did 2 days at Disneyland. The aesthetic was great and we were very comfortable. The host was accommodating and easy to get in touch with. They did come to the property on the dot at 10am on check out day which caused us to feel a little pressured but we were overall very happy.

Clean and comfortable home
Lovely and comfortable place for our family close to Disney. The street is lovely, the owners are responsive and kind. Only negative is if you are a light sleeper you might wake up when the upstairs tenant gets ready for work (really love their music choices and singing :) but this cannot be helped and can be fixed with earplugs so all is well.

Wonderful property with original hard wood floors and furnished perfectly. comfortable living room and bedrooms. In all my travels never seen a location so thoughtfully organized and prepared. Little things like available plugs for phones, lighting, kitchen appliances and utensils. This location has everything.

The apartment was very charming and vintage as described and depicted in the photos. We didn’t cook but it appeared to be well stocked for those who plan to do so. Plenty of street parking. It is situated in a quiet safe neighborhood and very conveniently located for forrays to Disneyland and Roland Heights for premium Asian food.

Lovely home, beautiful neighborhood
This home is immaculate. The owner takes special care with extra touches that really made us feel welcome. We enjoyed evening walks through the beautiful neighborhood and the location was perfectly close to the universities and nice restaurants. In certain areas of the house you can definitely hear the neighbors but it wasn't a huge issue for us. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Best Location
We planned a trip to Disney for my 7 year old niece. The location was not only convenient but also beautiful. We were able to spend so much time having snacks outside. All of the neighbors were friendly when passing & the street was picturesque. It was about 10 minutes to Disney & so many things within walking distance. Safety was our main concern & there were zero issues with that.

Our Stay Fullerton VRBO
We had a fantastic stay. Our host made sure that she thought of just about everything. There were even multiple types of pillows to choose from to ensure comfort while sleeping. She even left umbrellas by the door, and an extra tooth brush and toothpaste - just in case! The home is beautifully decorated and spotless. Fullerton is a cute little city- great culture! It is within walking distance and includes many nice restaurants located within a few blocks radius. It is very much so, a home away from home. We have stayed there twice now and the experience was exactly the same. Perfect!

This was absolutely the cleanest and overall one of the nicest va action rentals we’ve ever had.
The apartment was In a lovely neighborhood, attractively furnished in mid-century modern style, and very well equipped. We appreciated that soap, laundry detergent, Kleenex and wipes were provided. Shannon was very responsive To our questions. The only suggestion we’d make is to put a shade in the kitchen window to block the brutal morning sun

Wonderful Place to Spend a Few Days
We loved this property. It is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. I would have loved to have had time to hang out but too much Disneyland and other things to do. Everything you need is there, laundry machines and supplies, bathroom supplies, and coffee, thank goodness. It is in a great neighborhood, very quiet with cute houses. It is an excellent walking neighborhood too. Ken steered us toward a local Lebanese/French Restaurant, Les Amis, which was awesome. Great food but also part of the local scene. Coffee shop Dripp is also something to check out too. The owners were very nice and responsive to questions. In short, we will always stay here when we come to LA and you should too.

Nice home!
This was a great house to rent. We stayed at this rental to be close to our daughter over Christmas. The location was perfect and the neighborhood is super cute and quiet. The home was just the right size for our family. While it is not a huge issue, if you are planning to cook during your stay know that the oven is small. Otherwise, the kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. Shannon was great. She met us with the key and gave as an overview and tour. She checked-in with us during our stay and gave us great recommendations for local restaurants. If available on our next trip, we will rent this home again.

Amazing place, very cute town amazing owners!
When we first arrived we were greeted by Shannon who was just lovely and very kind. Showed us around the property and what a great place it is. Very peaceful, very clean and very charming. Relaxing, clean, comfortable, quiet, place with a nice, friendly neighborhood
We had a lovely stay at Shannon and Ken’s modern vintage home. It was clean, comfortable, and felt like home. It was nice to be able to BBQ dinners or cook breakfast in the morning. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and the neighbors are friendly. Shannon is wonderful and provides top notch service and goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable from the amenities to the personal touches such as dining recommendations. She is also always available if you need her. We will definitely book with Shannon and Ken again if we are ever back in Fullerton. Thank you!
