Great property and host. In need of a little maintenance in a few places, but that was the only minor issue. Overall is a really nice property in a really good location for central Funchal. The hills to the property are certainly a good workout so make sure you're up for that too!

Great location, very close to the old city which is about a 10 minute walk. Fantastic views over the city and the harbour. Great communication with the owner, who ‘rescued’ us after our flight was cancelled. The apartment has virtually everything you need, if a little tired, and the garage was a welcome bonus.

We are a family of 4. The 2 bedrooms are far enough for everyone to have privacy. The apartment could also be used by 2 couples. Is bigger than then we thought from the picture. We loved this place. The view is stunning. Always a good wind to keep us cool. We were there in July during a very hot period and it was not an issue. You have everything to cook. Walking distance from shops, groceries, restaurants and pubs. Easy access to highway. We wished we could have stayed longer than a week. Host waited for us to let us in and provided access before scheduled time. Very accommodating and fast response by WhatsApp. Having a garage for the car is a must in Funchal! We would definitely book again this apartment.
