“Great place in a little paradise with the perfect beach front location. A place to slow down, recharge and rest. One of those places you will come back again and again. Operated by the owners in a very family way, making you feel like home”

“A Magical Rainforest Escape – Highly Recommended!
We absolutely loved our stay at Ataraxia eco lodge! The property is run by a very nice couple who make you feel incredibly welcome from the moment you arrive.
It is beautifully located right in the rainforest, allowing you to completely immerse yourself in nature. During our stay, we loved watching monkeys playing, spotting sloths, and seeing a variety of beautiful tropical birds right from the property.
The food was another major highlight. The...

“Besutiful location. Very nice room with fantastic beds. Staff - with exceptions!!! - Not serviceminded. Long waits. "immediately" became a joke between us and our friends, meaning perhaps. Good food though, but very slow service generally.
Room was not properly cleaned on arrival, but afterwards cleaning was impeccable.
This hotel could be fantastic, if communication among the staff was better. The staff is friendly but need know-how
I wonder what the management have been doing for the last...

“Enjoyable stay on an island - but we had higher expectations. You get picked up in the harbour, works perfectly fine. The lodge was half open to nature and really fantastic. Dark wood materials, comfortable bed, shower half outdoors with nice eco friendly products. Be prepared to get some exercise while climbing up to lobby/dinner area. Dinner was average and breakfast as well. Missed "taste/flavour". The tour on the farm was nice but in the end it is all planted there and a little of everything...

“Just returned from a fantastic 3 nights at Casa Cayuco with our family of 5. Everything, from the welcome and transfers, to the smoothies/drinks, fresh made meals with local ingredients, to the excursions far exceeded our expectations. We are a mixed Panamanian-American family, and Casa Cayuco allowed us to introduce our children to the most beautiful parts of this country. I have been to Bocas Del Toro several times, but Casa Cayuco has the strongest relationship with its indigenous neighbors...
