“The staff here is wonderful. It was a special trip for our family after a tough year and we went to celebrate with an ocean view room. They had some circumstances causing them to need to change our room and they ended up upgrading us to a larger ocean view room. We were so grateful for this time as a family and we appreciated everything the staff did to make sure our time there was special. ”

“We stayed in the Edith Head Room and had a magical time. The "partial" ocean view was more ocean than I expected, and the wood burning fireplace was very cool. The staff had the fireplace set with wood and kindling, all we had to do was light a match and enjoy. The decor of the room and common spaces was very cool, felt like we were in a nice museum. It was magical to wake up to the sound of the tidal movements and ocean birds.”

“I stayed in anamaizngqueen room with a beautiful bath tub. I read reviews about this hotel being loud, but I was not prepared to be woken up at 5:30 with constant noise from the stairs and doors opening and closing. I was on the ground/countyard ... maybe a higher room would be quieter. Also, no AC. I also had to wait about 10 minutes to be served by the bartender for a glass of wine - after seeking out someone to help me. All that being said, I would stay again. ”

“This was easily my best hotel experience by far. The staff was super friendly and really went out of their way to make sure the stay became perfect. Their complimentary food they served one night was simply amazing and will be my favorite food memory from this trip. In the evening I had a great glass of red wine from the Paso Robles district and they even had a small selection of fresh beers from Alvarado Street Brewery. Unfortunately it was raining during my stay so I didn't get to enjoy their...
