“We came to the hotel on Valentine’s Day and the hotel had a special dinner for that evening. The dinner was fully booked with non-hotel guests and we were told that we could only have our dinner in our room or go to the food trucks down the road. We ended up having a hamburger in the bar though, even if it was chaotic there because of the Valentine’s event. There were many hotel guests in the same situation and they were all very upset. “Very nice, modern hotel with beautiful lobby and pool. Check in was very slow though. Room nice, very comfortable bed. Unfortunately we had no hot water for some time. Took them a while to fix and after that we had no cold water :) Good situated, close to airport, close to town. Service is overall good and cleaning was ok but not excellent. Why? The pool in the hotel is quite small and there are watercycling-classes for people not staying at the hotel at least 2 times a day, but that seems to be a standard on Tahiti, it was a fact in every place we stayed in. Petit dejounee tres tres ordinaire moins que basique. le service tres long et pas beaucoup d attention accordee aux clients. Nous avont dinee une soire sur place et c ete pas bon. Le poisson tres cuite pas du gout. Tres decue de notre sejour , je le recomande vraiment pas.”

“Detta hotell har nog den finaste utsikten i Franska Polynesien. Det ligger avsides på en egen ö. Det finns inte någon anledning att resa till huvuden, man kan bara slappna av. Stranden är perfekt. Maten är bra, men dyr. Vi har inte åkt till huvuden för att äta, det tar tid och så finns det myggor på kvällen. Låna gärna den polynesiska kanoten, den är bekvämare. Du har fina koraller mellan sjöhusen. Räkna inte med stor underhållning på kvällarna.”

“This is a smal, intimate , boutique hotel. Rooms are smashed but we had a bungalow facing the beach. Gorgeous! Other bungalows face the garden and actually are much cheaper but just as nice. Guests have access to a huge, well furnished living space and patio with a view of the beach. You can also use a state of art kitcnen. ”

The location of the island is exceptional and there were five or six baby with sharks swimming 10 feet offshore throughout our stay. There is many coral reefs in the area so No need to spend extra money booking a snorkeling trip, just bring your snorkel and fins. Private island is more calm and has better food and service, also it is way less crowded there (still both places are dead around 9 pm).
