“We love staying at this Zaza for Houston museums, zoo, and Hermann park visits. Price is elevated, but the quality of stay is top notch. Very spacious room at standard rate. Turndown service with a Moon Pie or chocolate, and a bottle of water. Over the span of a couple of days, we had an excellent breakfast and excellent dinner at Monarch. This weekend coincided with a prom being held in the big ballroom. The staff runs things so well that, as a guest, this was not a disruption at all to us.”

“The lobby was beautiful and very well maintained, but unfortunately the actual room did not match the price point. For nearly $200 a night, the room felt underwhelming and unfinished. It smelled strongly of fresh paint, and early in the morning there were workers banging on the walls, which made it difficult to rest.
The bed was by far the biggest disappointment. The mattress had no support whatsoever and sagged badly in the middle. I woke up with significant back pain and did not sleep...
