Gabriola Small Suite with Hot Tub

  • Small suite with private entrance, large screen tv, bathroom and porch within minutes to our village and ferry in a residential neighbourhood. Basic dishes, coffee and tea provided. This is the smaller of two suites available. Shared 5 seater outdoor hot tub available. Register any pets before booking and please and message host if bringing a pet before booking. There are three units total in the house and there may be sounds from other units at times.

The suite was clean and well equipped. Enjoyed relaxing on the deck, The area was very quiet, and close to the main hub. Also enjoyed the hot tub.

There was a little porch with a table for two facing a quiet road. We enjoyed our stay. One suggestion for improvement would be to publish the address on the vbro website. Or, maybe we didn‘t see it.

Located in a beautiful quiet area of Gabriola. Check in was seamless and the property owner responsive. We will definitely choose this location again on future visits.

This is a terrific option for a short stay on Gabriola. The room is smalm (as the listing clearly indicates) but has everything you need. Close the the village but secluded at the end of a cul de sac, with great views of sunsets over Strathcone Park if you stand on tiptoes! Very satisfied!

Chrissy was a great hostess! She answered all communication promptly and was very helpful with local information. She recommended restaurants to eat at and sites to see. We especially enjoyed our visit to the Malaspina Galleries to watch an incredible sunset. Thank you for that information. Thank you also, Chrissy, for your recommendation of dinner at the Surf Lodge restaurant where we were treated to a wonderful meal and an amazing ocean view that included a show put on by a pod of Orcas. We would definitely consider a return visit to this unit.

This property had all you need for an overnight stay. It was not near a beach though and the property next door was logged leaving large old growth fir trees and stumps when looking out the window. Not a great view and you will need a car to get around. Never saw the owner but her dogs were outside so we couldn't put our dogs out as fencing is not adequate. For the price which is low for the island it was all you can ask for.
