The villa features typical dry-stone construction that blends it into the cliffs, making it perfectly harmonious with the relaxing, nature-surrounded setting and offering a view of the sea.
There is also a splendid traditional Salento trullo, fully restored.
A gate allows you to park your car under a gazebo and then walk down a convenient flight of steps toward the house. Outside, there is abarbecue area with a fireplace and a wood-fired oven, as well as a terrace overlooking the sea with a swing: an exceptional view.
Inside, the entryway opens into the dining room, which leads to the kitchenette and a guest bathroom with a toilet and sink. From here, you can step out onto the back patio, furnished with a table and chairs, a fireplace, and a wood-fired oven.
From the living room, a spiral staircase leads to the lower level. Here, along a hallway, there are 3 double bedrooms—one of which has an en suite bathroom complete with a shower and washing machine—a bedroom in the trullo, and another full bathroom with a shower.

Air conditioning units are located in several places to cool the entire house. There are three units: one in the living room, one in the double bedroom with an en suite bathroom, and one in the hallway of the sleeping area.

Villa Petra is strategically located along the SP 358, the scenic Adriatic Coastal Road that connects Otranto to Santa Maria di Leuca, offering breathtaking views overlooking the sea.
The villa is just a few minutes from the heart of Santa Maria di Leuca. Its most iconic landmarks are within easy reach: the evocative Sanctuary of the Madonna de Finibus Terrae, the monumental lighthouse, and the spectacular waterfall of the Apulian Aqueduct.
Leuca’s waterfront offers a pleasant stroll past elegant, eclectic 19th-century villas, seafood restaurants, well-equipped beach clubs, bars, and the lively marina, from which you can set sail on boat excursions to explore the renowned sea caves.
The villa’s location also makes it easy to explore the coast via hiking and excursion trails such as the Sentiero delle Cipolliane and the splendid Ciolo cove, as well as the golden-sand beaches of the Ionian coast, such as those at Pescoluse and Torre Vado, which are just a 10- to 15-minute drive away.
All major amenities (supermarkets, a pharmacy, ATMs, and nightlife) are located in the immediate vicinity, in Santa Maria di Leuca and the nearby town of Gagliano del Capo.
 


- After reservation, you can fix check-in (from 4pm to 8pm) and check-out (from 8.30 am to 10am). An extra payment of euro 50 is required for late check-in upon request (from 8pm to 12am).

- Upon your arrival you will be required to sign the tourism contract written in Italian language.

- The tourist tax, WHERE APPLICABLE,is not included in the price and will be applied according to the municipal regulations.
- Above-ground pool available from June to September.
- It is MANDATORY to sort and dispose the waste. If not, it will be withheld penalty fee of 80 euro for up to 10 kg of waste + 50 euro for each additional kg.
- It is MANDATORY to leave the stove and cutlery clean (service not included in the price of final cleaning). If not, it will be withheld a penalty fee of 40 euro.
- Air conditioning in the living room, in the double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, and in the basement hallway.
- Parking area and access driveway shared with the owner, who lives in an annex adjacent to the villa.
