The owners were very flexible- communication could have been better. Great place if it’s warm enough to use the outdoor areas including the great porch but it was too cold when we were there. Also not able to use wood stove which was one of the reasons we rented the space.

It was a nice little place to stay. Amenities were good and within walking distance to a very nice restaurant called the Log Cabin. The driveway could use some improvements but that wouldn't prevent me from renting it again!

The kitchen setup was good - there could be more and or updated cooking utensils - not a major flaw. The rooms were well kept and comfortable. The grill worked but is kind of old. I asked the host a couple of questions of which some were answered but others not - not really about the property but about things nearby. The description of the property was very helpful. Ultimately we loved the location and the surroundings and would definitely stay here again.

The perfect place for our "Sister's Trip". Safe enough for one sister recovering from hip replacement surgery. The Tree House gives one permission to turn everything off and just read and knit with the sound of the creek in the background. We had great fun and lots of laughter making blueberry muffins without a muffin pan. Generally very comfortable. Really appreciated the big screened in porch. Saw a Bald Eagle, 4 Merganzers, Grey Herron, Deer and Chipmonks.Corning, NY was a great 'day trip' to see the Glass Museum and the Rockwell Museum. Also enjoyed The Lumber Museum one afternoon.Pine Creek Tree House is on our list to repeat!

The cabin itself is very cozy. It needs a few repairs (peeling wallpaper, wonky trash compactor) but was fine for our visit. The view of the creek is beautiful and the outdoor porch is really nice for enjoying the view. There is a fair amount of road noise from the busy road on the other side of the creek. We could hear it all night but got used to it after awhile.

Check-in was simple and the house has lovely views of the creek and surrounding woods. easy access to the state parks and a couple local restaurants. The screened-in deck is the perfect place to relax after a day of hiking. Parking is tight -- as described -- but we had no problem with our pick-up. Bedroom is comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Great place!

The house was as expected and worked out well. The screened in porch was very cozy. We spent time at the creek with our dogs, made a fire for some s'mores. The location was nice for walking. We walked to the Sunflower field down the road and cut some. We visited Colton Point State Park twice, nice walks. The house was clean and nice decorated. We did one of the puzzles that was there. We packed lots of food, so dining out wasn't necessary, but there were options. Definitely would stay again.

Awesome Experience

We had the best time enjoying the deck and watching all the action on Pine Creek! We did the Ole Covered Wagon tour and had a blast! The cabin was very homey and comfortable, we had everything we needed and more. We’ll be back!

Amazing Get Away

Everything about our stay far exceeded our expectations. The cabin was well appointed with everything one could possibly need for a holiday get-away - books, games, music, videos. There were extra sheets and towels, just in case. Everything was very comfortable and there was plenty of space for my family get away.The views overlooking the gorge were tremendous. Between the two levels of decking, with an attached stairwell down to the water and the screened in porch, there was ample space and opportunity to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.The cabin is well situated - with close proximity to Wellsboro or Mansfield, and all of the attractions that are within those towns.
