You will have the full house, land, dock and cabana to yourself, transporting you to your own private oasis to unwind and relax. Enjoy morning coffee on the spacious deck with the soothing sounds of the clear lake water lapping along the shore. Experience the never-fail breathtaking sunsets as you relax on the deck, in the cabana or on the dock.

Located just 15 miles from Winstar Casino and 2 18-hole championship golf courses, 20 miles from the German town of Muenster and a short drive to Deshain Winery and Cellars. Also near many popular wedding venues including The Springs, Whispering Oaks, The Gardenia and the Double K. The small craft Gainesville Municipal Airport is located 11 miles away.

Luxurious beach towels are provided for a dip in the lake, one of the cleanest and clearest in Texas. Use the gear for the plentiful fishing right off the deep-water dock, including largemouth bass, spotted bass, white bass, channel catfish and crappie. Leisurely paddle along the lakeshore in our 2-man and 1-man kayaks. Tie to the dock and float on our rafts, slide down the 2-story slide or jump in the water from the upper deck. Relax in one of 2 porch swings and enjoy plenty of seating on the decks. Wind down the activities gazing at the clear night stars and making s’mores at the large stone firepit near the shore!

Our lake house has a spacious open-concept living/dining/kitchen area on the main floor in a relaxed yet modern transitional style. The living room has comfortable slipcovered furnishings and TV to delight anyone for a movie night, set up with firestick; use your own account. A wide variety of games, puzzles, cards and books are available for guest use. You can even play ping pong out on the deck!

The large open kitchen is thoughtfully appointed for the chef in mind, providing everything needed for family style meals, including a double oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster oven, electric cooktop and well-stocked cookware. A coffeemaker, coffee and tea are provided. The dining table can seat up to 9, with 4 additional spaces with barstools at the kitchen bar. Grill dinner out on the deck on the gas grill. Everything you need is at The Retreat at Moss Lake to create special meals and make memories at the lake!

The primary bedroom is upstairs and features a queen bed, luxurious mattress and linens, TV and a full bank of windows to wake up to the sun dancing on the lake.

The additional upstairs bedroom features two twin beds with luxurious mattresses and linens. There is a twin pull-out chair-bed, as well as air mattresses can be provided upon request. This room also features a full bank of windows to the lake as well as southern view windows.

Closet and drawer storage is available in the hallway for both bedrooms. The full upstairs bath features tub, large shower and ample counter space.

The downstairs guest bedroom features a private retreat with queen bed, luxury mattress and linens and a full closet. Finally, the fourth bedroom, downstairs features 2 bunks, window facing lake and an access door to the porch. The downstairs bath includes a shower and plenty of luxurious towels.

Also provided is a separate laundry room, with detergent pods, ironing board and iron provided.
