You have found the quintessential Montana retreat to serve as your adventure base of operations. Minutes away from world class fly-fishing, skiing, hiking and mountain biking, and with Yellowstone National Park only 45 scenic miles away, it is the perfect place for families or groups who love the outdoors. The property's main floor opens onto a spacious covered deck where you can sit with your morning coffee and look out upon the expansive views or just walk a few steps to the hot tub nestled among the trees. Inside, relax by the fireplace after a day of fishing on the Gallatin or skiing at Big Sky Resort, only a short 12 mile drive away. Able to comfortably sleep 10, the main house features bedrooms on both levels and boasts a detached guest house complete with a queen bedroom, pullout sofa bed, kitchenette, and full bathroom with a jetted tub. This private and secluded property awaits to be your base camp as you explore the beauty of Big Sky and beyond!

Cozy quiet location with beautiful views.

We booked this property with montana winter in full swing. The roads were plowed regularly, making it easy to get there with all the snow. The property was quiet and inviting. The views are absolutely amazingly from all angles of the home. The hot tub was the perfect temperature and well enjoyed.

Wonderful Place and Location

The cabin and guest cabin were beautiful. The location was amazing. We had a couple of items that needed attention. The owners were great and responded quickly. Highly recommend this VRBO.

Lovely Mountain Retreat

It was a peaceful and idyllic stay at the cabin. The views from the master and master bath are spectacular! You can’t beat a hot bath with a view! One of the evenings had a nip in the air. The wood stove came in handy and really cranked out the heat! This cabin had all of the basic needs of a rustic Montana stay!

Great property for families

We stayed at this property with our 2 young children, a grandparent, and other family members. It was a great place to stay for all of us — each part of the family had their own space. The location is beautiful and the house is charming and clean. The hosts / property managers are very professional and responsive. Anytime we needed something, they replied right away. The only downside is the road to get to the house is a little hilly and bumpy, so you need to drive carefully. We would gladly stay at this house again. We recommend.

Private Getaway

This property was great! Both cabins were clean and had plenty of towels, garbage bags, and toilet paper for our 3 day stay. The wildlife in the mornings and evenings were great! The fireplace definitely heats up the main cabin!

Amazing Cabin in Big Sky

This was the perfect location and house for our group. It’s big and beautiful cabin with a full separate guest house! It has a secluded feel but is still close to the town and the resort. The hosts were responsive and the were incredible easy to work with. Can’t recommend enough!

Stunning location, beautiful home(s)!

This is an absolutely beautiful location for any friend/family gathering, and has the added flexibility of a fully finished guest house for additional privacy. The homes are fully stocked with great amenities, comfortable sleeping situations, and a great kitchen. You're also central to Big Sky, Bozeman and the entire Gallatin area for great outdoor activities. But the views are the best part, in my opinion. Survey the mountains from the porch with a cup of coffee, watch snow fall down while chilling in the hot tub, or quietly observe elk meandering down the mountain from the window. We enjoyed all of these beautiful experiences in a few short days. Can't wait to come back! Thank you for having us!

Cabin Retreat

We recently stayed here for a mini skip trip and the cabin had absolutely everything we needed. I received a welcome email about a month before our trip which included all the information we needed to access the property and things to expect. Upon arrival, there was a nice booklet with additional info, and the heat was on which was a plus for how cold out it was that night. The property was spacious and had plenty of beds for our group. All of the amenities detailed out on the listing were there and working great. Thank you!

Montana escape

This is the perfect Montana log cabin. We had a wonderful winter escape. We were close to Big Sky ski resort and we got three days of skiing in. Some of the family went cross country skiing and others went for a dog sled ride. There is so much to do near by. The hot tub was great and the main house is a perfect spot to have a nice dinner and party with your family and friends.

Great stay

We felt like we were further off the beaten path than we were, which was perfect. Lots of space for everyone, comfortable furniture, big kitchen, and a great hot tub set up is what we needed after some cold days skiing and hiking.
