“Very nice place in a beautiful village. Breakfast is excellent and all persons working there are so friendly The room we got was also very nice but very warm and the window could only be opened a bit… that is the only negative. Will come back!”

“Om man är ute efter ett lyxhotell så ska man inte välja Campanile men om man är ute efter ett bra budgethotell med trevlig personal så kan du boka detta. Busshållplatsen ligger bara en liten bit ifrån Hotellet och det tar bara några minuter till centrala Basildon. Det är lite slitet här och där men det var rent på rummet och restaurangdelen var fräsch och fin och det var trevlig personal. Åker jag tillbaka till Basildon kommer jag absolut att boka samma hotell.”

“The bathroom was dirty, clearly had not been cleaned properly in some time, there was hair all over the floor, dirt build up around the shower tray and shower itself. Windows were also very dirty. The breakfast bag is not worth it as it’s not ready to go you have to wait 10mins for the hot part!”

“The room was very clean, and the beds were very comfortable, although the room was small, and if you ended up stuck inside, you’d quickly become claustrophobic. Likewise, the picture used to advertise the hotel is not a picture of any public or restaurant space in the hotel building, but a picture of the pub/restaurant 150 feet away. As we came by train we could not go and find a place for breakfast. Staff told us there was a cafe where we could eat 2 minutes up the road, it was not a cafe but a service station that sold hot pies.
