The main living area, featuring cozy seating and a flatscreen smart TV to stream your favorite shows, is the perfect spot to kick back after a long day at the beach. Entertaining is easy with the large dining area that seats up to 14 and wet bar that's equipped with beautiful glasses, a Margaritaville blender, wine cooler, ice maker, and minifridge. The well-equipped, full kitchen is great for cooking all of your favorite meals. It offers plenty of amenities, stainless steel appliances, and upscale accents. Each bedroom in the home features its own contemporary en suite bathroom and private balcony access with endless views. Two bedrooms sit on the main level, while another has four bunk beds — perfect for younger guests. Through the dining area and up the staircase you'll find the other two bedrooms and en suite bathrooms.

Perfect Weekend

My family wanted to just get away and have some time to bond. We could not have picked a more perfect location and home. It had everything we needed to be together and yet the bedrooms allowed for privacy with ensuites in all rooms. We truly lucked out on this property and will return.

Der Aufenthalt war hervorragend! Das Haus fast so wie in der Beschreibung, aber sehr gut! Das war unser vierter Urlaub auf Galveston Island aber das erste Mal durch Betreuung von VACASA! Wir werden NIE wieder Häuser buchen die von VACASA betreut werden, weil die Kommunikation katastrophal war! Wir waren durch diese katastrophale Kommunikation nicht in der Lage das Haus abzuschließen und es bestätigte sich, das der von VACASA aan uns ausgegebene TÜRSCHLOSS-CODE nicht stimmte! Viertage Urlaubsfreude weniger-----nie mehr VACASA!!!!

Nope, just nope

Arrived to a dead cockroach on the front steps, upstairs at 86 degrees because they had the A/C turned off and general dirtiness throughout. Also, they have just 3 pans that are compatible with their fancy stovetop. So cooking in-house was definitely an issue. A/C finally got down to 72 on night 1, but was totally broken by about 5pm day 2. I am convinced the owner/Vacasa knew about the A/C issue ahead of our rental. Dead cockroaches and crumbs throughout. Had to chase and kill a cockroach in our bedroom on night 1. Vacasa didn't care about that. We stayed in another rental 2 weeks before (Ryson) and there were no cockroaches at all. They have an induction stovetop, but just 3 pots/pans that actually work on it. Cooking for 10 people on one skillet and 2 pots for 2.5 days is ridiculous. The house has an amazing floor plan and view, but the maintenance and cleanliness are reasons to never visit this place in the first place.

The house itself was great. Nice views of the beach from the three primary bedrooms. Bathrooms were nicely finished. The bar area had nice amenities and the kitchen was easy for everyone to work in. The induction stove top was a bit of a problem - not easy to figure out if you're not familiar with it. Only one pan that really worked on it. The dishwasher could use replacing and the couches seemed a little worn. The large dining table was great for our group, as were the outside table and chairs. Access to the beach was easy, as well. Our main concern was the lack of communication with Vrbo and Vacasa. Because of the recent hurricane, it was important that we know if the house had power and was undamaged before we made the trip to Galveston. We had to make several frustrating phone calls to both companies and didn't receive any answers until the day before we had to leave. It was a disappointing experience.

Fantastic House But.....

The layout of the house and the location exceeded our expectations. Rooms were spacious, kitchen was well stocked, balcony views and beach access were fantastic. Issues encountered that kept the trip form being perfect were: 1. Upon arrival, the upstairs temperature was 87F. 2. The upstairs bedrooms have air distribution problems. One room stays freezing cold but the other will not cool down. The hot room is also the only room without a ceiling fan. 3. The smoke detector battery in the downstairs hall went out and there was no replacement. Had to remove the detector to stop the beeping. No one ever did come out to replace it. 4. The propane tank on the grill was empty. We had to refill it but were not reimbursed. 5. General cleanliness was an issue. Floors felt "gritty". Open food in the pantry. Chip crumbs on kitchen floor. 6. No washcloths or extra blankets. 7. No starter paper towels or extra trash bags. 8. Living room railing is loose and two balusters were missing in the second story deck rail (small child can fall through).

Beautiful and spacious

Great location and so spacious. The only thing that did not work for us was trying to use the stove top. It's an electric induction stove top, and none of us was familiar with it. I would recommend that the owners put a simple instruction manual in the house so that others like us can figure it out. There was not an induction frying pan so we were not able to make our morning omelets. They did tell us that we could use the other frying pans but these regular frying pans did not get hot enough to cook anything in so we had to forego cooking eggs of any sort. The blender did not work either but as soon as I informed them, they delivered a brand new one within an hour!! Other than those 2 small issues everything was perfect and I would highly recommend this property!

Wonderful Stay! Amazing Views!

3 masters with ocean views and every room has their own bath. Plenty of space. Watched dolphins from the deck. Home is older, but has been renovated. Easy drive into town. Cute little gym 5min drive from the house. Can run for miles on the beach. Great family stay. Would stay again just for the layout of the home and the views.

Beautiful location

The view is amazing, with quick access to the beach. Only 30 minutes from Galveston, but there is big Dollar General close by. Looked just like the pictures in VRBO. Only two issues. One is that everything was dusty and should have been swept/dusted before we arrived, but was other was clean.two is that the stove. We had to watch a video on how to start it. But could not get it to work. Contacted Vacasa immediately. They asked us to do a few things which we did. We sent them a video of what we were doing and the error codes being thrown. Said they would contact the local office. Didn’t hear anything from them. Sent messages each day- first but text then by email, including text screen shots. Same response- we’ve contacted the local office. No one ever showed up or called/left messages until our last day. That email only said that a member of their team told us to keep a pan on the stove in Order to heat….we knew that from day 1. That wasn’t the issue. So we went nearly a week without a stove. We had 3 of our group with severe food allergies. We booked a house with a stove and expected a resolution of it being fixed or some refund for it not working. Their lack of care for our food needs makes me hesitant to rent from Vacasa again, as I question the urgency with which they would respond should the fridge, air, heat, etc., were to stop working.

The pros : It's a really nice home, very spacious. The balconies were large and views were great. Communication with the property manager about how and when to check in went smoothly, and the location was a plus. The Cons: The cleanliness of the accommodation was not up to par. Upon arrival, I noticed my feet were filthy from the floors while we were unpacking. The bathtub in the bunk bed room would not drain. While looking for all the pieces of the Margaritaville type blender we noticed mouse dropping on the top two shelves in the pantry. Another significant disappointment was the quality of the amenities advertised because even though there was a good variety of pot and pans, they were past their prime and should be replaced, as were the sofa and throw pillows, the ice maker at the bar was broken, but my husband fixed it himself, there were no black out curtains in the upstairs bedrooms like they had in the downstairs bedrooms, so it was very bright in the morning and also at night due to the neighbors spot lights, the batteries in the tv remotes were dead and you really shouldn't need 3-4 of them and take a tech savvy person to figure out how to turn it on and off.

Luxury and taste!

This property surpassed our expectations and worked so well for our two families with kids ages 2-11. Often pictures inflate what a property actually is, but these pictures really do show the property - it is truly fantastic! Stylish, spacious and clean. Plenty of tables and seating for when our cousins joined us for a meal. The kitchen was large and the drink bar has two drink fridges plus an ice maker. The Texas shaped bar sink was the cherry on top. Linens were clean and plentiful. The kitchen was well-appointed including small appliances. We did take our own Instant Pot and Air Fryer, but they had a great coffee maker, toaster oven, toaster, etc. The bedrooms are all private with their own bathrooms plus a hall bath for guests. Each bedroom had a television and the living room tv was excellent for squirmy kiddos waiting on parents. Washer and dryer worked. ALL SHOWERS DRAIN!! The exterior decks were wonderful. Spacious with generous seating. The two upstairs bedrooms had glorious views of the ocean from the deck or the bed. Breath-taking, really. The house stayed cool and there were several de-humidifiers around - a really lovely and thoughtful touch for a beach rental. No games around, but the books make me know I’d want to be friends with the owners. Lots of excellent history pieces to read. Downstairs offered a ton of beach toys and an excellent outdoor shower. Covered parking for both our vehicles was a bonus. Check out was as easy as locking up the key!

Location of this house is nice and size is great however, We had MULTIPLE problems with this stay. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was not working and would not cool, the only room that stayed cool was the one upstairs with the separate unit. The grill outside did not work so we were unable to grill food we bought. Lots of tar on the ground in the garage area, stairs, balcony, and walk out leading to the beach. The drain in the bath tub in the bunk bed room would not drain the water unless I held the stopper up. Very disappointed with this visit after the amount of money spent for a three night stay.

PROS/CONS after 10 nights

PROS: Clean property with awesome location and a great open area with dining, kitchen, and living room all together. The wet bar is amazing and the ice machine is great. CONS: The master suit and bath are very underwhelming and need updating. There's no dresser. The house wasn't equipped with trash bags, hand soap, dish soap, or other basic things. Its not part of the deal but most homes at this price have something. The bad part was the internet going out (there's no cell coverage here) due to the fact that the owner had not paid his Xfinity bill for 3 months. Vacasa took 4 days to get this resolved and their process wasn't impressive. I had to have 3 separate phone calls and had 2 text conversations before they got the owner to pay his bill. Not paying bills on a beach rental property in June was astonishing to me and a sign that the home is not a priority for the owner. Just a heads up for future renters.

50th Anniversary family gathering.

The location and house were just perfect. The view and the access to the beach was better than expected. The house was very clean and roomy allowing for a large group to have plenty of elbow room. The (4) bedroom with a large bathroom attached made sleeping our group very easy. This was a great property.

Perfect Location

The home was perfect for adult families with teens (I could’ve even slept in the full size bunk beds). Each room having its own bathroom was a huge bonus. And you are right on the beach!!!!! As previous reviews mentioned, the house needs updating as most beach homes do on a frequent basis. But, the location was great, the beds were comfy and the layout was perfect for us. I would only add that if you plan on doing any cooking, bring salt:) otherwise, the house had all the amenities we needed.

Amazing View!

We loved everything about this house! There was so much room, the kitchen was well stocked, the private boardwalk down to the beach was so convenient... and there's no way to describe the view from the decks. I hope we get to stay here again someday!
