AJs Beach Haven - your beautiful vacation home in Sea Isle

Chill and relax in this stylish & tastefully decorated beach retreat. Open kitchen/living area perfect for gathering around for meals, TV time or games. Watch the waves from the deck while enjoying a morning or evening beverage. Sea Isle beach access area is a short walk, golf cart or car ride away (less than a few min). 3br/2b sleeps 9 max including children under 2 (note bunk room).

This home is perfect for a few adults (4-6) and a few kids. Living spaces all on one level but you must use exterior stairs to access the home.
The kitchen is well equipped so you can cook fabulous meals should you desire; a variety of cooking tools and small appliances are readily available including a blender, hand mixer, juicer, veggie chopper, crockpot, instant pot, flat griddle, panini maker/sandwich press, and popcorn maker. Outside on the downstairs deck, a charcoal grill is available (charcoal and lighter fluid to be provided by guest). For the coffee drinkers, there is a drip coffee maker and Keurig.

While that meal is cooking, hang out with family or friends on the patio under the home. Play some outdoor games or simply enjoy the shade of the deck and relax. Upstairs guests can also sit on the North or South facing decks.
Heading over to the beach? When you come in from the beach, a hot/cold shower is located on the patio to rinse the salt and sand away.
Inside , high speed Wi-Fi is available. Enjoy favorite TV on the Smart TV in living area, Master, guest and bunk room TVs have Firesticks to access favorite apps. For those needing to work or check into the office, a monitor and work station is available in the nook area, as well as a separate laptop stand and chair in the guest room for more private work needs.
**Bunk room has twin over double and single over trundle. Bunk has weight restrictions and best suited for children/teens. Upper bunks better suited for children over 7 years with weight not to exceed 150 lbs. Middle/lower bunk not to exceed 250 lbs.

Sea Isle is a community on the west end of Galveston about 15-20 minutes from downtown. It has a family friendly vibe where life is a little slower, kids ride their bikes all around the neighborhood, folks walk to the beach or the marina, and all enjoy less crowded beaches.

This is a family owned beach home. We appreciate guests who treat it with care and respect as they would their own. Host reserves the right to change decor, beddings, pillows, and furniture if necessary and by doing so does not constitute listing inaccuracies.
** please rinse off before entering the home as suntan lotions/oils will stain furnishings and sand gets everywhere; rinse equipment as well before storing.

A limited starter supply of paper products, dish soap and washer pods will be available.

Please note: the home has four exterior facing security cameras which are actively recording during your stay. Cameras are in public areas only(drive area, down deck, stairs , entry door/deck).

Cargo lift is not for guest use. Please do not climb in, sit or swing on any gates including those on the lift or stairwells.
Note: AJ’s Beach Haven includes infants and children under age 2 in the total number of guests (max). Additional guests or visiting day guests require host pre-approval. NO PETS

Community amenities (pool and hours of operation regulated by Community management. Guests must purchase pool pass (paid directly to the mgmt. company) If interested, please let host know that guest will be using the pool so that additional info can be provided.

Neighborhood park and play area located on Mason Drive.

Easily walk to the West End Marina restaurants/bars in the neighborhood (live music events on select dates). An easy drive into downtown Galveston, (20 min), close to Galveston Island State Park for nature/kayaking, hiking, etc. (approx 6 miles). Great fishing at the San Luis Pass.

Note: this is a warm and often humid climate. It is normal to see mosquitoes, flying pests and other native insects in the area and around the home. Regular pest control is maintained for the comfort of our guests. On occasion, guests may find insects in or around the home. As this is common to Galveston, refunds will not be provided should guests encounter these native insects.

Bring sunscreen, bug spray and your beach towels. **House towels are for the home and not beach use.

**Our cleaning crew require adequate time to clean the whole home after guests depart. We change all linens, including bed covers, towels, sheets, cases. We may not be able to accommodate early check-ins or late check-outs depending on date.
