Centrally located historic home with so much to do you will never want to leave!

Stunning newly remodeled 4 bedroom, 3 and 1/2 bathroom home in the historic district that sleeps 12 comfortably with free parking on premise. The home is designed for entertainment and fun or just relaxing and has something for everyone. The cooks will delight in preparing meals in the well-appointed gourmet kitchen that offers all stainless-steel appliances including a 6 burner commercial gas stove with griddle. It has an oversized island, two large sinks, coffee bar and is open to the living/dining with seating for 12. The home has numerous large smart flat screen televisions with cable and free Wi-Fi throughout, as well as USB compatible plugs alleviating the need for charging adapters. For those that are young at heart, there is a game room that boasts an air hockey table and Jurassic Park pinball machine. There is also an attached media room with a 75" flat screen TV and comfy reclining sofas for movie night!

There are two outside decks with seating, perfect for sunset viewing and a downstairs patio with an outdoor gas grill and dining table. There is a private splash pool, great for play or relaxing and a hot tub for just chilling. The pool is only 5 feet deep so it is NOT FOR DIVING. For those that are sports minded there is a putting green and covered basketball court for shooting hoops. When not shooting hoops, the covered carport is perfect for setting up tables for an outdoor dinner. We provide the folding tables and chairs. There are outside fans and a cooling unit for added comfort. There is also an outdoor shower for rinsing off post pool and beach.

Conveniently located to a variety of restaurants, shopping, Museums, Historic churches and other activities on the Strand. Just 5 blocks from the beach and seawall. We are pet friendly and provide convenient poop bag dispensers for picking up after your fur babies. Upon approval, we will allow up to two dogs up to 40 lbs. each with a required non-refundable $150 per dog pet fee. We kindly request that you utilize the bags to keep the yard clean. There are two outdoor cameras for safety. One in the front of the house and one in the back of the house.

The kids enjoyed the play space. Everything clean. Grill did not work (lines to propane tank not clear even when putting another tank on it). and no coffee pot and no pods for kuerig. For a large group coffee pot would be useful. Great gathering spaces.

Fun and Relaxing Times

Everything was great about this property - my family had a great time - the game room was a big hit. Pool was refreshing and so was the hot tub. It is centrally located to the boardwalk, the beach and Moody Gardens.

Perfect location and Family Fun

My family and I enjoyed this place so much!!They enjoyed the air hockey table and pinball game, basketball and the pool! Walking distance to beach so did not have to pay for parking!! Close to Downtown to enjoy a meal and shopping! We definitely recommend this home it was clean and had everything we needed!

Galveston Home Great For the Whole Family!

This home is in a nice central location that's easy to get to everything. We were rushing around on a quick trip for an Ironman triathlon, but we'll definitely go back when we have time to enjoy all the many amenities they have to offer. The owners had great communication and everything could not have gone any smoother. We highly recommend this home if you're planning a trip to Galveston!

Family Thanksgiving Week

Our family of 7 assembled for a Thanksgiving Week. This home was fantastic for our purpose. It is easy to find and in a good location - within easy walking distance to the Beach, restaurants, bars, and the popular Strand area. Main level is 20-25 steps up from street level, but it is well-designed and decorated. Kitchen was perfect for making our Thanksgiving feast. Game room, hot tub, pool and many TVs added to the family fun. Bedrooms, bathrooms, laundry were all first-rate. No problems encountered. Good communications with hosts prior to visit. Would be happy to return in future years.

The house is beautiful and clean. The kitchen is high end and fun to cook in! All bathrooms and were clean and comfortable. Location is great, although the house has everything so you won’t want to leave much!

Great Experience!

We hosted our family for our son's medical school graduation in June. Everything was perfect--such a fun and functional space that is close to everything on the island. Host was communicative and easy to work with. Recommend without hesitation!

Ahhh-mazing!

I do not usually leave reviews, but this place deserves one! Y’all, it is exceptional! I have never stayed at a VRBO that was so clean! The location was great! The property is amazing! Pool, basketball, a little putt-putt area, pinball, air hockey (which this was the coolest air hockey table with video!). Being Galveston in the spring, it was still a little chilly, so we all absolutely loved the hot tub! There were plenty of towels. Everything you could need in the kitchen and then some. Beds were comfortable. Oh and the urinals! Urinals were a big hit with the boys lol! We cannot wait to go back! We hope to make this our go-to spot in Galveston.

Custom comfort and Autism-friendly!

From the warm, friendly, and prompt communication with our hosts - to providing the smallest and most appreciative creature comforts, Ms. Laurie and Mr. Lloyd were exceptional hosts! Every photo posted is an accurate view of the inviting decor and cozy family-friendly warmth that awaits you in this "home-away-from-home". The extra quietness of the 3rd floor and neutral color scheme that was chosen throughout the home was extremely important for our son (Autism/sensory integration)-the 3rd floor bedroom became his “calming” room, the openness of the 2nd floor served as his “stimming area”, and he napped on the 2nd floor deck (position of the reclining chairs, constant and surprisingly cool breeze, and sound of the hot tub running was extremely soothing (a BIG thank you!)). The smart TVs; the kitchen with all the amenities of home including a coffee maker, waffle maker, spices and seasonings, a six-gas pilot stove and two large restaurant style sinks; open-floor design, plenty of room on the 2nd floor deck and 1st floor patio; inviting pool (kept very clean); spotless wood floors and bathroom tiled floors; fluffy white bath towels; quietly running washer/dryer that does a superb job of cleaning; VERY COMFORTABLE sleep in ALL the beds. TERRIFIC check-in and check-out (keypad system and cameras); central air and heating and ceiling fans! Quiet neighborhood (surprisingly quiet-no parties, no loitering, no dogs barking all through the night) and free parking! We hope to come back!

Lovely home & very comfortable for children & adults. Game room was a big hit with the kids. Location is close to the Strand, within walking distance & the beach is a short drive. In cooler weather it would be a nice stroll but not in July in TX!! The VRBO pics accurately depict this house. We highly recommend this rental.

Wonderful family home!

My 3 grown children, their wives and the grandkids joined us for a great week! The house was perfect for everyone in the family! They really thought of everything-books for the kids, outside toys, pool, hot tub, even beach towels!! The large kitchen was perfect! Would love to go again!!
