Welcome to Footprints by the Sand!
We are so excited to welcome you and share our little beach getaway with you. This is our first time hosting, and we truly appreciate you choosing our home for your stay. We hope you feel comfortable, relaxed, and welcomed from the moment you arrive.
Our goal is to create a cozy space where you can enjoy quality time, make beautiful memories, and experience all that Galveston has to offer. Thank you for being part of the beginning of this journey with us.

Other things to note
*House Rules
• Please keep noise levels low and be mindful of neighbors. Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8:00 AM.
• No parties or events.
• No smoking, vaping, or use of e-cigarettes. This includes cigarettes, cigars, marijuana/cannabis, etc. Do not leave cigarette butts, ashes, or smoking materials on the property. Any smoke odor, residue, or damage requiring extra cleaning may result in a request for reimbursement through Airbnb.
• Please wash your dishes after use. If dishes are not washed, extra cleaning fees may be applied.
• No pets allowed without requesting approval.
• Report any damage.
• Rinse off beach sand before entering.
• Do not place wet or sandy towels on furniture.
• Treat the home with care and respect
• Make sure to turn off the lights, air conditioning, and any electronics when you leave the house.

*Pets

•We welcome pets on a case-by-case basis, so please send us a message before booking.
•The pet fee is $50 per pet (up to two pets). If you have more than two pets, feel free to reach out. We’re happy to consider requests based on your pets and your Airbnb reviews.
The pet fee helps cover the additional cleaning required after your stay.
•For everyone’s safety, please keep your pets on a leash whenever they are outside, as neighboring pets may not always be leashed. Please clean up after your pets promptly and do not allow pet waste to remain anywhere on the property.

*Additional Guests
Additional guests may be accommodated on a case-by-case basis and must be approved before booking. An additional guest fee of $20 per person, per night may apply depending on the reservation.

*Weather, Hurricanes & Storms
Please check the weather before your trip, especially during hurricane season. We recommend purchasing travel insurance for peace of mind in case of weather, travel delays, or other unexpected events.
No refunds will be provided due to weather conditions, rain, or changes in travel plans. Refunds will only be considered if a mandatory evacuation order is issued for the property or as required by Airbnb’s policies or applicable law.

We truly want you to have a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Please take care while using the home, outdoor areas, and all amenities, and be sure to supervise children and pets at all times.

Although we work hard to keep everything clean, safe, and in great condition, guests are responsible for using the property responsibly and for keeping track of their personal belongings. Except where required by law, we cannot be held responsible for accidents, injuries, illness, or the loss, theft, or damage of personal items during your stay.
