Jamaica Beach! Fishing light, kayaks, pool access!

This wonderful home is in the sought-after Jamaica Beach neighborhood which is the perfect place to find peace on the bay and beach. It is wonderful for family vacations. This recently renovated home is the perfect home away from home. The open living space is welcoming and cozy. The fresh new paint and updated bathrooms and floors are absolutely stunning. While at the property you can enjoy many wonderful features including a ride in the provided kayaks down the canals, a bike ride to the beach, or a nearby park/neighborhood pool. You will also enjoy relaxing on the deck on one of the lounge chairs while enjoying a cool beverage and taking in the beautiful water views. So many extras included. There is a beautiful outdoor shower that was recently installed and is perfect for rinsing off after the beach. We do not allow pets as owners have family allergies. Only vehicles max allowed. The driveway holds up to 4 vehicles. No parking is allowed on the street or in neighbors' driveways. No pet policy is due to the owner's severe allergies.

You can fish right off the backyard dock and catch all kinds of fish. A cleaning station on the dock allows you to clean your fish right outside a few feet from where you are fishing! In the evenings, the underwater green fishing light offers a tranquil aquarium.

The lovely home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The rooms each have a queen-sized bed with a television. The upstairs bedroom also has twin bunk beds. This allows 8 people to sleep comfortably. Linens for the beds are provided, along with towels for the bathrooms. There is a full-size washer and dryer to use for your convenience. There is a television in the living room, with a cozy couch to unwind on after a long relaxing day. The kitchen has all you would ever need to make a delicious dinner. You can cook the fish or crabs you caught right out on the canal! We also have a crab trap available for setting up right off the dock. When you catch them, you can cook them with the big crab boiling pot up in the kitchen. We have a charcoal grill for outdoor grilling and a lovely patio table upstairs as well as a picnic table downstairs in the shade.

There is a ladder on the dock so you can swim right in the canal if you fancy.
Kayaks and bikes are available for your enjoyment.

Jamaica Beach is the neighboring subdivision next to the State Park. The local police force, fire department and EMS gives you peace of mind, with the police around the clock patrolling of the area.

Galveston is just down the road with all of its' famous attractions. Schlitterbahn has its' indoor water park open year-round. Moody Garden has an aquarium, IMAX theater, and other fun family attractions. There are museums scattered throughout the island including a flight museum. The Pleasure Pier amusement park is definitely a must and the many restaurants along the Sea Wall and on The Strand are fabulous choices.
