“Das Balsamico ist Balsam für die Seele! Unser Zimmer war wunderschön und sauber einschließlich des Jacuzzis auf der Terasse. Besonders hervorheben muss man aber die Inhaberin Maria und ihre Familie, die unglaublich herzlich sind und alles geben, dass die Gäste glücklich sind. Hier werden wir sicher wieder einchecken!”

“Budgetlägenhetshotell en bit upp i bergen från stranden. Lugnt och fint trots närhet till den större vägen. Vi hade lite strul med incheckningen när vi kom. Trots kvällstid var vårt rum inte iordningställt. Det löste sig dock rätt snabbt och vi gavs flexibel utcheckning och lite gratis dricka som kompensation. Ingen big deal. “The rooms were very basic and 'tired'. The food was below standard, fresh meats, salad and cheese for breakfast were uncovered on the buffet and the coffee was the worst I have ever had. The manager offered us a meal in the evening at no extra cost, which was very generous and hospitable of her. However, the food was very unappetising, with a limited choice so we went elsewhere. “Absolutely beautiful villa. Well situated with many tavernas in the nearby villages just a 15-20 minute walk away. Our just Gaby was lovely with just enough communication to stay in touch for anything you might need/relevant information but not intrusive. She met us on arrival even though it was late and we had been delayed. There was a moussaka in the oven and a fridge full of food and drink. I have never felt so welcome and looked after! We will definitely be back ❤️”

"We stayed at the resort for 10 days and overall had a good stay — but it’s not a 5-star resort. The place feels quite run-down, especially the rooms, which haven’t been renovated in many years. Pros: - Very friendly and helpful staff. - Beautiful and well-maintained surroundings. - We were quickly offered a new room when we asked. Highly recommend choosing one with a sea view — others can have a very dull view. - There’s a cozy little backyard area behind Rodius where you can enjoy a drink in the evening. Sadly, it’s often empty since it’s far from the main restaurant. - For the price per night, comparing to many other resort, it is priceworthy. Cons: - The lifeguards are overly strict. I made a small dive in the pool and was immediately whistled at — very uncomfortable. I wasn’t the only one who noticed; several guests felt the same. - The rooms and parts of the hotel feel outdated and in need of renovation. - Half board only includes the main buffet restaurant. Although the buffet is pretty good for being a buffet. Tips: - Rent a car if you want to explore! Avoid Hersonissos — we recommend Piskopiano instead. If you’re traveling with kids, visit Acqua Water Park (5 mins away). For a great beach nearby, go to Potamos. Summary: A good stay overall, but the standard doesn’t match what you’d expect from a 5-star resort. "
