Buffalo Trace Retreat - Utestående Mountain Views, nära till parken

Split-nivå homr med 3 sovrum och 3 badrum. Rymligt, välutrustat kök, öppen planlösning med kök, allrum, matplats och frukostbar. Däck av familjerum med utmärkt utsikt över Electric Peak och Sepulcher Mountain. Större hem som är utmärkt för stora grupper och familjer med barn. Nedre våningen har ett sovrum, läs / sovplats, futon och utfällbar stol för våra mindre gäster. Ett badrum och komplett tvättmöjligheter. På övervåningen familjerum har 55 tums plattskärm, nere familjerum har 40 tums plattskärm och sovrummet har 30 tums TV. Satellit-TV och trådlöst internet. Skrivbordsområde på övervåningen med utsikt över bergen för våra gäster som behöver datortid medan de är på semester.

In the evening when this photo was taken, the canyon takes on a soft, almost painterly light. If you can, make a visit right after sunrise and return for the sunset.

  • We visited this location but ideally needed to be there in the afternoon as the sun was on the "wrong" side of the arch. I used a wide lens to capture the arch and didn't attempt to correct the distortion as I felt it added to the picture (for me anyway). Walking in the first impressions were how clean the house smelled and looked. The furniture was clean and comfortable. Perfect Retreat for a Multi-Generational Family Vacation

Buffalo Trace Retreat was the ideal home base for our three-generation family trip to Gardiner! The property is in a perfect location—peaceful and scenic with stunning views of the mountains and downtown Gardiner, yet just a short walk to shops and restaurants.One of the unexpected highlights was the daily visits from elk cows and calves—such a unique and memorable experience for all ages! The home itself was incredibly comfortable and well-appointed. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, the bedrooms had ample bedding, and there were plenty of cozy blankets for lounging.The hosts were fantastic—responsive, communicative, and genuinely helpful. We felt well taken care of from start to finish. If you’re looking for a beautiful, convenient, and relaxing place to stay near Yellowstone, this is it. We’d return in a heartbeat!

Comfort, Convenience and Elk!

We had a wonderful stay at this home in Gardiner, Montana! The location was perfect—just a short walk to town and incredibly convenient access to Yellowstone’s north entrance. The house was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space for our group. We even had some elk visitors out front one morning, which made the stay even more memorable. Thank you for a great experience—we’d absolutely stay here again!

Gardner cabin

My family and I stayed here for 5 nights for Christmas week and it was everything we wanted. Beautiful location with a very pretty view of the mountains. Plenty of kitchen space to cook for the family. Very short distance to Yellowstone hot springs and 30 minutes from Chico. Cabin was very clean and exactly as listed. Easy to find and check in check out process was simple.

A great place to stay!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic VRBO and we cannot say enough good things about it. The accommodations were outstanding - the home was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the location was perfect for exploring the town and Yellowstone NP. The owners, Natalie and Kevin were also extremely communicative and helpful, making the whole experience even better. We highly recommend this VRBO to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

Yellowstone comfort

Buffalo Trace is comfortable, well-appointed, and within minutes of the North entrance of Yellowstone. The owners were particularly helpful suggesting special spots in the park to view animals. At the end of our long days exploring the park, it was nice to cook in and relax with friends.

This house was perfect for our family trip. The location is walkable to the main area of Gardiner and so close to the north entrance of Yellowstone making it the perfect “home base”. Owners are easy to get in touch with. Would recommend without reservation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. It is very spacious and it is so warm, comfortable and inviting. Yellowstone Experience

The property was absolutely perfect for my family . We were so close to Yellowstone 's North entrance. There was virtually no traffic entering the park. When we drove to the West side of Yellowstone we were going against traffic and avoided the long lines of cars entering the park. What a blessing!! The town of Gardiner was quaint, charming and had a Western vibe. Delightful!!

Amazing Yellowstone Rental

The Buffalo Trace Retreat was the perfect home for our trip to Yellowstone! The house was absolutely beautiful and perfectly located so that we could enjoy every aspect of the park! At the house, we had lots of elk and mule deer visitors, which made the trip even more special! Natalie and Kevin were the perfect hosts and made our stay absolutely perfect!!
