âI always stay at the Hyatt in downtown Chicago whenever Iâm in town for concerts at the United Centerâor really anytime I visit the city. The customer service is consistently excellent, with staff who are friendly, attentive, and make everything easy. The location canât be beat; getting to the United Center is quick and stress-free. Iâve tried other places, but none compare. This hotel has become my go-to in Chicago, and I highly recommend it.

âDonât expect luxury but a good, modern hotel with cleaning only when requested. Bed was excellent as was the penthouse restaurant/bar. Valet parking and garage available in the building. I would recommend a room on the top floors due quite a bit of street noice, not over bearing but certainly noticeable. Unusually high water pressure which made showering almost painful. â I wished i had known about the microwave. And the refrigerator was full size! These are great features to know about. I appreciate the fact that they have parking but it was inconvenient to find out their lot was full and I'd have to use a parking garage ($$). That was unexpected and not fun finding out after hours of traveling. I liked the amenities even if it was a take and go breakfast selection. Free bottles of water and coffee were also niceties to appreciate. â

Beth, the innkeeper, is personable and tends to every detail. The property is lovely and peaceful. Great dining options just a walk away, train to the city around the corner, and a lovely neighborhood to walk around and revel in the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright. Highly recommended inn.
