Om boendet

Bear Mountain House.

  • Välkommen till vår mysiga Garrison stuga steg till Anthony's Nose vandringsled, några minuter från Bear Mountain Bridge, 15 minuter till West Point, bara 60 minuter från NYC, 15 min till Cold Spring butiker och restauranger, 8 min bilresa från Garrison tågstopp. Beläget vid berget, har vi härlig delvis utsikt över Hudsonfloden. Kort bilresa till Woodbury Commons Premium Outlet Mall och nära Storm King och Beacon. Vårt hus är lämpligt för 6 personer, men rymmer 8 mot en extra kostnad.

    Njut av ditt morgonkaffe på vår breda terrass och se kalkoner, räv och rådjur vandra. Vårt ljusfyllda hem är 3 sovrum och 3 badrum, 1 sovrum och 1 badrum per våning. Vi ligger inom gångavstånd till vandringsleder, Anthony's Nose tvärs över gatan, en 5 min bilresa till berg och allt det har att erbjuda. 10 min körning till Boscobel.

    Gästerna har tillgång till hela fastigheten.

    Vi är barnvänliga men inte barn- eller babysäkra. Det finns vassa bordshörn, det finns ingen säkerhetsgrind på trappan, lådor kan enkelt dras ut, rengöringsprodukter är lättillgängliga etc. Vänligen använd ditt omdöme.

Wonderful West Point Weekend

We had a great stay outside the military academy. The host was super accommodating responding quickly to our communication before the trip. The house is beautifully situated along the Hudson with a picturesque backyard and relaxing deck.

Great house for a family weekend

Property was perfect for a weekend family gathering. Each couple had their own areas and bathrooms and the common area, dining room and deck allowed us all to interact in a spacious environment. Beds were comfy and house had all the amenities we needed. Great location for West Point and Bear Mountain and the host responded to questions quickly. East check in and out process and no issues during our stay. Hopefully we will be returning for another stay.

Great house!

This house was perfect for us! There were 6 of us - 3 couples - each with our own bedroom and bathroom, fully stocked kitchen, comfy furniture and lovely deck. We enjoyed our stay and had a great weekend of hiking, exploring nearby towns/sights, and the local Shakespeare Festival. Enjoyed our stay. Owners very responsive with any questions. Easy instructions for everything. Would definitely come again!

Bear Mountain House

Great spot to stay a weekend in fall! Great location, close to many things to do: Storm King, Beacon, The Great Jack o lantern Blaze! Beautiful views of foliage from the large windows through the house. Super comfortable beds. For the price, I would say it could use some minor updating. Also, the basement level bedroom feels like you’re in a basement, sticky cricket traps etc. We would be happy to stay here again. Angie is a very thorough and kind host!

We vacationed together as three generations of family. The house was well suited for our vacation. It was located perfectly for our hiking and dining agenda. The size was perfect for individual comfort and was stocked with games and toys for our grandchildren. The high end kitchen exceeded our expectations. All in all a great time.

West Point Graduation Stay

My family of four, plus a grandparent stayed here for 2022 USMA Graduation. The location was super! Truly 15 minutes to Thayer Gate, plus convenient to Walgreens and grocery. This home was very clean and the instruction manual was detailed and so helpful. The yard was perfectly maintained and my children, 9 and 15 enjoyed playing out on the freshly mowed lawn. There are two sets of wooden stairs and only one twin bedroom on the main floor, plus a level change from the dining area, so older guest should be mindful. I highly recommend this home.

West Point Family Fun

Our family of six traveled from Missouri to visit our cadet at West Point. Because we were unable to visit him on post last year due to COVID-19, we decided to stay a little longer over two Army Football weekends. We really needed a home away from home and Angie's house was the perfect place for all of us. My parents also came and stayed a few days so the main floor bedroom was a very important feature to be able to accommodate them as they don't do stairs very well. All of the bedrooms and baths were clean and comfortable. It was bright and inviting the minute we entered and the key pad made it easy as well. Best of all, the large dining area and family room were perfect to relax, laugh and share a meal. The kitchen had all of the charm of a farmhouse but with fabulous new appliances. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location to West Point!

We loved this property. The location and everything was perfect for our visit to see our daughter. The host was extremely responsive to one small issue and rectified it immediately. Would absolutely stay here again.

Great house

We had a great time at Angie's place. The house was ideal for 2 families with kids. The basement is equipped with fun games for the kids. The living and dining space are spacious, clean and cozy. We enjoyed warm evenings by the fire, and cooked delicious food in the very well equipped kitchen. The area is beautiful with good hicking trails and near Beacon and Cold Spring, two very cute towns. We would book the place again. Thank you!

Family gathering for a local wedding

We rented the property so my my husband and I, along with our 3 grown children and their spouses/partners could be together while we were in NYS for a wedding. The house was perfect for that. It was super clean, beds were very comfortable and each bedroom had it's own full bathroom. It's very close to Westpoint and Bear Mountain. We all had a pleasant time.
