  • Många besökare vill vara nära handlingen i centrala Gatlinburg och vill inte nödvändigtvis spendera så mycket eller behöver allt som en stuga har att erbjuda. Men det betyder inte att du behöver bo på ett hotellrum och förlora alla fördelarna med en semesteruthyrning. På Gatehouse 106 har du en öppen spis, terrass, stort sittområde, fullt kök för att laga mat i lägenheterna och tillgång till en säsongsöppen utomhuspool. Ännu viktigare är Gatehouse den senaste utvecklade lägenhetsbyggnaden som ligger på gångavstånd till centrum. Det är en nyare byggnad som är privat, väl underhållen och tyst. så du har alla bekvämligheter som att vara i Gatlinburg i en nyare enhet till priset av kabinen!

    Du kommer att njuta av en eldstad, uppgraderat kök, plats för 6 i det stora rummet och 2 privata master-sviter med 2 fulla bad och uppgraderade sängkläder. Kanske vill du koppla av på terrassströmmen vid strömmen eller kanske använda säsongens utomhuspool och spa.

The building, unit and locations is what brings us back. The unit could use some TLC. New mattresses, fix the screen on the patio door and a new master bath sink faucet (drips a lot). Fall Getaway

The layout of the unit is awesome, the view from the patio spectacular, and the location incredible. However updates are needed. The carpets are worn and spotted, some of the tiles are cracked and broken, the ice maker did not work, and the sinks in the bathrooms did not drain well. We still had a great time and would consider coming back.

Unit 106 could use some upgrades starting with the beds. The beds are very noisy to the point you hear the people in the other room get in and out of their bed. Very nice open floor plan on the inside, great bedrooms and the view from the patio was great. Its a bit of a walk to "downtown" (1.1 miles),,, the thing to remember though,, its downhill on the way into town,, its uphill on your way back to the condo. All in all,, the rental company was super attentive, checked on us a couple of times,, the place was great,,, the location is awesome,, would stay here again.

Pros: Location; nicely landscaped, quiet and clean complex; spacious unit; comfy chairs on the balcony; nice view of the creek; great water pressure; convenient to grocery store; washer and dryer in unit; excellent communication from the unit’s property management company; and first floor unit close to the parking lot and enjoyable pool.Cons: the entire unit could use a thorough cleaning and painting; both bedspreads were stained; some of the towels were more gray than white; the jets in the en-suite tub were dirty; no grab bars on that tub/shower combo; and the carpet was stained.The cons were reported to the unit’s property management company and I felt the issues were taken seriously.We had a relaxing break and the location was convenient.

It is obviously dated, but who goes to Gatlinburg to stay inside. The kitchen has everything you need (who wants to cook while on vacation ?) If you’re looking for a place to have a cup of coffee in the morning and adult beverages at night this is the perfect place for you. It was for us!!

Two nice sized bedrooms. Functional kitchen and AC system was great. I liked the location as we could use backroads to Pigeon Forge or go down 1/2 mile to two Gatlinburg parking lots if going to town. Walking to Gatlinburg is not idea for most but note the easy access to parking lots.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We visited Gatlinburg for the first time and stayed in condo 106. I will say it is a bit dated and the mattresses need to be replaced with better quality. There was no extra toilet paper, only what was on the rolls and no extra towels provided. Those items would have been nice. If you have mobility issues, you will have difficulty getting in and out of the shower/tub combos.
