Our cabin is a dog-friendly home. While our cleaning team is thorough, it`s impossible to remove every trace of pet hair. Please consider this if anyone in your group has severe pet allergies.

HOUSE RULES
1. No parties or events allowed.
2. All smoking is done outside on the deck
3. Vape pens, smoke, incense, candles, illegal substances are not permitted in the or around the cabin.

ROAD ACCESS
Familiarity with mountain driving is necessary for this cabin and driving around the Smoky Mountains.
** The last 100 yards is narrower, you need to be comfortable with mountain driving. **
While most vehicles navigate our mountain roads easily, we recommend a 4x4 or AWD vehicle, especially during winter months (typically Dec 15 - Feb 15) or if snow/ice is forecast, as mountain roads can be challenging in inclement weather.

Rental Agreement:
Please note that a short rental agreement will be sent after booking is confirmed. This agreement outlines the standard terms of your stay (house rules, responsibilities, and damage policy) and must be completed prior to check-in.

Pet Policy:
Only dogs 1 year or older and under 60lb allowed. Up to 2 dogs per reservation, and dogs must be crate-trained and potty-trained, and crated when you`re sleeping or out exploring or any time you cannot supervise. Please pick up after your pets. We will charge excess cleaning fees if pet waste is left inside or outside of the cabin.

Amazing cabin!

This was a great place to stay. It was quiet and felt secluded while still being close to downtown. We saw bears every day. It was very clean. I highly recommend!

Lovely location for Smoky Mtn Getaway

We enjoyed our visit very much. The roads to property are not for the faint of heart! Code to get in on first day did not work but was able to contact owner and they were able to open door and provide alternate code. Definitely bear country - we saw several : )

Relaxing and Wonderful Trip

We had a wonderful time. The property was clean, the checkin process was flawless, and the views were great. We enjoyed the hottub, sauna, and community pools (esp the south pool). We got to see so many mama and baby bears up in the trees. It was so entertaining. I would come back here for sure.

Vacation get away

Chalet was as advertised. Very clean, one of the quietest locations we have stayed. Excellent communication with owner all questions answered immediately. Bear activity was in the area and they will attempt to get into your trash bin so secure well! We highly recommend this property. The road to chalet is a bit tricky but you are in the mountains.

Quick spring break getaway

We had a wonderful family mountain getaway for my son's last year before he goes off to college. The hot tub was clean and hot and there was enough space for our family to spread out. We brought our pup and she loved our time there as well. Everything was clean and well stocked. I highly recommend and will book again. We originally booked to snow tube and the owner contacted up to let us know it closed early for the season. I really appreciated the heads up and they sent us a great link with stuff to do. The communication was great and not too invasive. The owner let us know they were available but respected our privacy. This was important to us, as well as a simple checkin. We knew we were arriving very late and ha no isues.

Fantastic stay

We had a fantastic stay. The view was amazing, and the location but really close to town. We were a little nervous of the driveway at first, but after getting used to the drive, it was fine. Our stay was the first week in November, so there were lots of leaves, but a company blew the leaves off of the drive daily. We were fortunate to see turkeys as well as a bear walk right in front of the chalet one day. We did see another bear close by. That was definitely a plus. The kitchen was well-equipped and had all of the supplies that we needed including a blender. It was nice to have two different types of coffee options, Keurig and regular. Appliances were updated, and the hot tub was very clean and appeared to be new. We also loved the sauna. We used the grill and a nice plus that it was gas. Pet friendly! Keep dogs on a leash because of bears. The owner of the property had excellent communication with us, and notified us that we could actually check in a little early. We will definitely stay here again.

Clean chalet

My husband and I really liked the property and the view of the mountains. The place was clean and the hot tub and steam room were nice extras. The only thing we didn’t have was a coffee pot because it was broken but we improvised and made it work! Place and location were overall awesome and would recommend!

Our stay Leisure Time Chalet was perfect!

This cabin is now our favorite. It is so quiet, very clean, comfortable and relaxing. I loved the kitchen. The hot tub never got cold and the view is beautiful. Great neighborhood to walk the dog. We can't wait to come back.
