The Space:

The Tranquil Treat is a cozy home base for reconnecting in the Smokies. Plan a day exploring Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge, then return for a soak in your private hot tub, dinner together, and a relaxed evening by the fireplace.



ROOM TO UNWIND

Approximately 1,100 square feet across two levels, with a wall of windows framing mountain and woodland views. Enjoy TV and Wi-Fi in the living area, or take your morning coffee onto one of the two wraparound decks.



SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS

Downstairs bedroom: one king bed.

Upstairs living area: one queen sleeper sofa.

One full bathroom; maximum four guests. Stairs connect the two levels. A lovely fit for two, with space for up to four.



DINNER IN OR A NIGHT OUT

Prepare a meal in the kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, dishes, and silverware. Dine together at the table or use the BBQ grill. Restaurants and attractions in both towns are a drive away.



YOUR OUTDOOR RETREAT

Wraparound decks on both levels offer places to sit and enjoy the surroundings. The private four-person hot tub is a welcoming way to end a day in the mountains.



EVERYDAY COMFORTS

Washer and dryer, bed linens, towels, air conditioning, heating, and driveway parking for approximately two cars.



Guest Access:

Guests have use of the cabin, both decks, private hot tub, BBQ grill, and driveway parking. The owner’s locked storage closet is reserved for management.

Just off the Spur between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, The Tranquil Treat gives you a convenient base for enjoying both towns. Head out for dinner, attractions, or a day in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, then return to your cabin for a quiet evening together.

Downtown Gatlinburg / Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies: 3.2 miles.

The Island in Pigeon Forge: 6.1 miles.

Great Smoky Mountains National Park / Sugarlands Visitor Center: 6.3 miles.

Dollywood: 6.7 miles.

Tanger Outlets Sevierville: 8.5 miles.



Distances depend on the route and destination entrance. Allow extra time for Parkway traffic, weekends, holidays, and seasonal events.



Getting Around:

A personal vehicle is recommended. Driveway parking is available for approximately two cars. Allow extra travel time during busy weekends and holidays.



Other Things to Note:

Maximum occupancy is four guests. Pets, smoking, and parties are not allowed. The cabin has two levels, with the king bedroom downstairs and the queen sleeper sofa upstairs. An exterior security camera is located at the front of the house. Please leave the porch-light switch on, as it supplies power to the camera.
