“What can I say. Our stay was one of the best, if not the best stay I have ever had. I love this hotel. Beautiful grounds, beautiful food, beautiful building. I want to give a special mention to Thomas and Flo on reception. They were incredible. Breakfast to go was ready for 5.00am (we were hiking the three peaks) and nothing was too much for these two staff. Flo was so helpful and friendly and Thomas was such a delight to deal with. The spa: WOW! Pricey but worth it. Wonderful. I’ll see this...

“We really enjoyed our one-night stay at the inn. We managed to snag an amazing deal at half the usual rate. Our 2-bedroom room was very clean - only a couple of snags were experienced. The first sleeping area had no bedside lighting and the second had no accessible mains supply! The breakfast included was excellent. The setting for the inn is fantastic - lovely area to walk around.”

“Clean comfortable and very quiet. Not noticeably busy at all. Rather dated interior & no food served at the hotel. No breakfast lunches or evening meals despite notices outside saying hotel has a restaurant. It doesn’t. Nevertheless it offers reasonable comfortable sleeping accommodation and there are cafe’s & restaurants within a short distance. ”

“Stayed with friends for 1 night in a room with double sofa bed and separate double bedroom. We couldn’t fault the room or service at all. Staff were friendly and efficient and we felt really welcome. Dinner and breakfast were cooked perfectly and delicious. The setting is beautiful. Lots of opportunity for walks on the site or perfectly located to drive out and visit Yorkshire’s beautiful scenery. The leisure families were great too. Quiet, clean and relaxing. We will definitely return ”
