  • Inbäddat på en lugn väg med utsikt över Seneca Lake hittar du The Heron House. Detta hem byggdes med komfort och avkoppling i åtanke. Så lämna dina bekymmer vid dörren när du kommer in i detta fantastiska hem. Vackert inrett från topp till botten, det här hemmet är säkert att uppfylla alla dina behov. Utanför foajén är ett pittoreskt kontor och första våningen badrum. Den öppna matsal / vardagsrummet har åtta fot höga glidande glasdörrar med pittoresk utsikt över sjön. Ett uppdaterat kök ger gott om matlagning och samlingsutrymme för att roa med familj och vänner. Du kan koppla av i soffan bredvid arbetsgashällen eller gå ut på ditt däck och njut av en kvällskväll som du har utsikt över de kuperande kullarna på Finger Lakes. Efter solen sätter, huvud inuti hemmen 4 sovrum. Det första sovrummet ligger strax utanför vardagsrummet och erbjuder en queen size-säng och en TV. På övervåningen hittar du 3 extra sovrum och ett badrum med badkar / dusch combo. Det stora sovrummet har en king size-säng, en sittgrupp med 42 "platt-TV och drottning bäddsoffa, och panoramautsikt över sjön. Utanför kommer barnen att älska "Pirate Ship", en två-tierad, 15 fot lång träreplikat, komplett med gangplan och ratt. På din promenad ner till vattnet passerar du under ett stort lusthus till en gradvis, 110 'längd av stranden med träuteplats under ett överhängande träd. Fisk i slutet av båtens brygga eller slappna av och titta på vågorna tvätta över sjön. Sjön botten är nästan helt fri från stenar och är grunda nog för barn att simma. Heron House ligger i hjärtat av Seneca Lake Wine Trail, direkt över Seneca Lake från Hobart och William Smith Colleges. Det är mindre än en tio minuters bilresa till centrala Genève, Wegmans livsmedelsbutik, Hobart och William Smith Colleges, Genève på sjön och Belhurst Castle. Heron House ligger också mindre än en tjugo minuters bilresa till Del Lago Resort & Casino, Waterloo Premium Outlets och fyra offentliga golfbanor; en tjugofem minuters bilresa till Finger Lakes Drive-In Movie Theater; och en trettiofem minuters bilresa till Finger Lakes Racino. RR spår kör längs Edgewood Drive. Tåg går cirka 10-15 mph, ca 2 gånger per vecka.

Gorgeous sunsets!

Heron house offers gorgeous sunsets, beautiful mornings and lots of watery fun on a little beach. You’ll also enjoy walking on the country roads nearby and many other fresh air activities. The kitchen is big enough for many people to crowd into to make a communal meal. The yard is completely fenced so our dogs were able to stay confined and safe. We had a fabulous visit.

When we walked in the musty smell from the basement was overwhelming. A dehumidifier should be run and the door to the utllity room/basement should not have gaps between the door and the frame. In the master I used a broom to remove 12 spiders and webs near the ceiling. The outside front walk and deck should have been swept before our arrival. The rest of the home was great. The view is beautiful, the capets are nice, nicely decorated.

It’s a “okay” stay!

Stayed with family for the “it’s a wonderful life” festival. Nice location 15 mins from scenca falls. House slightly dirty, ants, mouse droppings. But to be expected that far in the country! Would recommend the festival!!

The upstairs shower really did not work. It was very difficult to find a way to get hot water. It looks like the hot water knob is broken and has not been repaired. The inside shower curtain had orange mold on the bottom. The shower was slow to drain and backed up with water while showering. We specifically wanted a rental with two working bathrooms and we had to share a bathroom with five people because of the difficulty with the shower. The outside deck needed some upkeep and the cushions on your chairs were very dirty. In addition, the grill looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in quite a while. Upon arriving at the house, we mistakenly drove past it into the neighbor’s driveway, not knowing that it was a dead end. Immediately the owner of the property confronted us. We explained to them that were renting and that we were turning around. The next-door neighbor acted in a rude manner.

Quaint quiet house in lake

Nice location, quiet nook in residential area. House is arranged nicely, but needs update/renovation like screens had some holes, shower head on first floor bathroom not functioning. Also listing prior to booking should indicate strict policy for “day” guests, as max occupancy listed as 8 includes day guests that the rental company needs full disclosure of total number of day guests, their names/ ages, date and time of their visit; I think a bit over intrusive to say the least- took the fun out of just trying to have a relaxing time with family members.

What a beautiful house right on the lake! Conveniently located in Geneva near restaurants and wineries, myself and a group of friends with dogs really enjoyed staying here and would highly recommend!

Great vacation

Sitting on the deck overlooking Seneca Lake was very relaxing. Having a glass of wine from one of the local wineries and watching the sunset added to that relaxation. Heron House met all our expectations: right on the lake, access to the local wineries and breweries, and the restaurants in Geneva. Our only complaints: Edgewood Drive is a private road. Once you leave the highway you need to dodge potholes until you get to the house. The kitchen is huge with loads of cabinets. The only drawback is that the kitchen counter is ceramic tile and in need of replacement. This was our 1st family vacation since COVID-19 and our our 1st visit to the Finger Lakes region. We enjoyed every moment.

Perfect weekend getaway

We came here for my mother in law's birthday weekend and it was a beautiful and relaxing spot right on the water to relax and wine. Definitely need serious bug spray, but 1000% worth it!

Perfect family stay for HWS grad

This property was great for our family and pup. The views of the lake are fantastic. Very clean. There is a gas grill available next to the deck and a fire pit for S’mores in the yard by the play structure. The yard has wire fencing all the way around so it was perfect for our small dog to safely be outside with us. Lots of outdoor seating on the deck. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you might need for preparing family dinners. Thank you Finger Lakes Premier Properties!

Beautiful house tucked away, offering fantastic views

This was a great house. The photos in the listing do it justice. Nice layout, and great spaces. Very nicely decorated, and well-maintained. Looking west across the lake from the deck (and the master nedroom upstairs) is fantastic in the afternoon and evening! The yard is a little smaller than anticipated, but we were not looking for lawn space on our trip. Also, the local road in from the main road is long, and bumpy. And GPS will tell you you have arrived when the house is still nowhere to be seen. At that point, there is still a very short hairpin turn over train tracks that then doubles back in the opposite direction before you get to the house. A little tough to figure out in the dark, but in daylight should not be a problem. Wifi is very strong, and Roku on the TV in the living room allowed all the streaming video you might need. Access to the beach is a steep climb down. We didn't need it on our trip because we traveled with our older dog, so it wasnt a concern. We would love to stay here again!

Great house!

The Lakehouse had everything we needed to enjoy the water and outdoors and was very clean and comfortable inside. Definitely a steep climb to get down to the beach but otherwise it was perfect. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need for cooking and serving large group meals.

Amazing view of the lake!! Everything we expected and more. Great location easy to get to Seneca Lake, Cayuga and Ithaca. Had a great time didn't want to come home.

Family Vacation

We loved our stay. House was in a great location, clean, plenty of room, air conditioners worked great for warm days, kitchen had everything we needed, view from deck was amazing, we really enjoyed using the kayak, paddle board and paddle boat, we fished off the dock and relaxed by the fire pit at night. Short distance to town, wineries and waterfalls. Would highly recommend.

Heron House has a spectacular view! We loved the amenities, such as the pirate ship, paddle board, peddle boat, rafts, and the kayak. The stairs are quite steep, but it's still a family friendly home. We would definitely return!

We had a wonderful time at this centrally-located cottage with a fabulous lake view and access. We had 4 adults and a 7-year old and everybody was happy! Huge kitchen, spacious deck, outdoor gas grill, great hammock, what else do you need?
