Hotell nära George C Marshall Memorial Plaza

“Otippat med ett så fint hotell en bit utanför staden. Vi var på genomresa så de två nätter vi bodde passade oss perfekt. Frukost var ok, varma rätter kostade men dock rätt billigt. Restaurangen hade enkla måltider.”

“I am a regular at this hotel and I asked to check in early for about an hour, so from 11-12. Because I had to leave again and not return until 4:00pm. I Just needed to freshen up after a 5 hour drive. They wanted to charge me an extra fee of which I didn’t have, however they did let me use the lobby’s bathroom so I can wash my face and change clothing . The reception even recognized me from previous stays, but unable to accommodate.”

“The Summit is a 1906 grand hotel with all the trimmings associated with a historic bld. If your thing is hanging around the grand lobby, sitting in front of the fireplace chatting with other guests, this place is for you. The rooms are what you would expect in an historic Inn. The rooms meet the needs, but the lobby, bar and restaurant is the place to hang out and soak up the beautiful architecture. Id return for a longer stay. ”
