“Everything was perfect, the staff is very kind and helpful”

“Im honestly not sure why this place has so many good reviews. It’s like a motel. Walls are dirty, sheets are stained, towels are stained, shower curtain is disgusting. Poor washroom lighting. Literally a motel. To top it off, $700 usd was stolen from my backpack while we were out for the day. The morning I left, I counted the money and when I got back, $700 was missing from the total. Staff looked at cctv and we went to police station back and forth 4 times, and they could do nothing. Although...

“Very clean. Staff were outstanding. Prompt service, nothing was too much trouble. Food was also excellent. Gardens beautiful and private pool was awesome.”

“This villa is basic and was perfect for me for my one week stay. I enjoyed privacy, the comfortable sofa on the terrace, and a hot bath in a jungle setting. Overall it was peaceful aside from some construction noise and traffic in the distance. Lots of frogs too through the night but the sounds of nature are wonderful. Biggest downside was the road to get to it which is very challenging for cars. Better if you plan to use a scooter or scooter taxi. ”

Maybe the only downside, especially for light sleepers: there can be occasional street noise from the nearby road during busier times. ”
