“Our third stay at this resort and obviously for good reason! The property is gorgeous and beautifully maintained. Multiple pool areas with different depths were perfect for our small grandkids to play in. Shallow enough in one pool for them to splash and walk in and the other was deeper for swimming etc. The beach has super fun snorkeling especially at night,....grap a dive light and go see all kinds of critters on the nearby reef within a short swimming distance. “We only stayed one night before taking the ferry to Utila. I appreciated that they arranged my airport transfer to the hotel and from the hotel to the ferry. My room was near the water, but you had to walk down the sand to get to it due to construction work. This construction meant there was a lot of noise during our stay, which is why I didn't give it 5 stars. The room was quite large and clean. “If you’re looking for a tranquil and relaxing experience, away from tourists attractions, Las Verandas is the place. The grounds are well kept and the ocean views are spectacular. The restaurant on site and the poolside bar were amazing. Waitstaff very pleasant and attentive. The beach was very rocky therefore not conducive to swimming but the 2 infinity pools made up for that. We will definitely be returning for another week’s stay.”

“The room was nice and clean. The staff is what broke the place. The food was fair but nothing special. This place had a lot of potential but the people seem to not want to be there a waitress even dropped food on me without an apology.”
