“Fabulous hotel in lovely location. I could tell you about the great bedroom with very spacious bathroom with great towels. Both spotless. I could tell you about their excellent dinner menu & equally excellent breakfast. Instead I'll tell you about the staff. Every one of them from check-in to restaurant staff were friendly, knowledgeable & professional. A credit to the hotel.”

“Mycket trevligt familjärt lite mindre hotell. Ägaren är väldigt social och pratar med allt och alla, han vill att alla skall känna sig som hemma. Finns även Boulebanor på bottenvåningen om man skulle känna sig sugen på att spela. Hotellet ligger på gångavstånd till allt, restauranger, shopping och pendeltåg. Enda negativa är matoset i samband med köket och frukosttummet.”

“We had the most wonderful stay at Blackwell House in Scarva! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome — nothing was too much trouble. The house itself is absolutely beautiful, full of charm and character, with every little detail thought of to make guests feel at home. The food was incredible (and plentiful!) and the rooms were spotless, cosy, and luxurious all at once. It’s one of those rare places where you can truly switch off and relax, and yet still feel utterly spoiled....

“Fabulous room very clean and comfortable bed, absolutely loved the breakfast! High quality service all round.”

“It was very cold and our room had no heating, they did supply us with a heater which promptly broke down, they did very kindly offer us dinner on the house, which we accepted. The hotel itself is a little tired and although it has been partially upgraded it still needs a lot of refurbishing to bring it up to an acceptable standard.”
