“Check in was fantastic. We arrived early for a funeral and got checked in 2 hours early. Kerry on reception was so helpful and just what we needed after a 5 hour drive ”

“ Booked overnight stay following a music event nearby. Booked Riverside Hotel, but they obviously own several properties nearby. Our room was in a converted house up a side road so sadly no Riverside view. Room was very preventable. Needs a net curtain at window to aid privacy, better quality mattresses and pillows. Cleaner needs to look up & dust light fittings. ”

“A lovely little find, perfectly located for a trip on The Broads, or sitting watching the boats and wildlife. Great sized rooms. Excellent choice of breakfast freshly cooked. Enjoyed a couple of evening meals on site. Staff go above a beyond and are icing on the cake at this lovely old hotel. ”

“The room was exceptionally spacious and full of character. Many hotels are a bit soulless but this is far from the case here. The staff were professional, friendly and always with a smile. I've seen a few reviews have commented on 'hidden charges' - breakfast isn't included but this is clear from the very start and there's no pressure to eat here in the morning. If you do, however, the food is excellent (we had dinner) and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this hotel.”

The pub & restaurant have an amazing wine selection, a superb selection of excellent beers from Lacons and fabulous food. All in all, hospitality how you would want it and food how you would dream about it! Fabulous. ”

“Ett mysigt litet hotell med familjär känsla och fräscha rum. Personalen var trevlig och tillmötesgående och maten på den indiska restaurangen var utmärkt. Hotellets wifi krånglade en del, vilket var ett bekymmer då vi saknade egen internetuppkoppling, men i stort var upplevelsen god.”

“ Good location on the edge of town, convenient for the buses along the North Norfolk coast. Short walk into the town. Ample car parking on the street or in the yard. Room was not overlarge but was clean and had everything needed and the decor was good. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Continental type breakfast ample and varied. Altogether, a very positive experience and we would be happy to book again when we come to Sheringham.”
