“The property was fine except because the title and pictures indicate it is an apartment I thought we had selected a studio apartment with a kitchen. Also we had a power outage for about 4 hours which is not properties fault but they had been notified about it, but did not tell us at check-in. Unfortunately we had not had our breakfast and had to go out. To their credit they gave us $20 to buy coffee etc. The other annoying issue was I had to pay a security deposit of $200 at check-in which was...
“Only stayed one night. Dorothy was a lovely, friendly host who met us on arrival and gave us a good tip for where to get our evening meal which we followed and had a great meal (Cafe Chez Joe). The property was functional and clean and was ideal for an overnight stay.”
“Pros:
-large space inside the house
-Carport was useful
-Easy car access to Sale town centre
-Laundry facilities are good
-Quiet location
Cons:
- poor communication from host on arrival, no info pack anywhere in the house.
- very noisy aircon, basically unusable
- Towels were rough and well used
- very tired decor, needs full revamped
- windows difficult to close
- outside and inside woodwork needs painting
- windows need to be washed
- toilet door can’t be opened from the inside if shut....
“Thoroughly enjoyable property with all amenities needed for a great stay. Very clean and seating very comfortable for a group. Checking in had it's complexity but sorted quick enough. ”
“Absolutely immaculate property.
Maybe cleanest and most well put together rental property we've ever stayed at.
Great location for Cowes and Phillip Island in general. Minutes to main restaurant and shopping area.
We had 3 adults, 4 kids and with 3 large beds, 1 single, and 2 sitting areas it was plenty of space for all.
And the cherry on top was the ease of arrival and departure..
The easiest positive review Ive ever had to make.”
