“My family stayed for two nights and everything was wonderful. Communication was excellent and the check-in instructions were thorough and easy to understand. The place was very clean and the bathroom was very nice. Good water pressure which seems like a small thing, but I have terrible water pressure at home so a really good shower while on vacation is a bonus! The beds were very comfortable, and despite the fact that I have sleep issues and usually wake up often, I slept surprisingly well....

“Shanty Creek was a great place to stay. The room was spacious, clean, and private. The restaurant on site had fun specials after 5 pm and there was a shuttle that took you to the bar in town. Pool area seemed well kept, and so did the grounds in general. I'd totally stay here again. ”

“This place was so clean, the staff was amazing and even checked on us throughout our stay and they have the place stocked with everything you could possibly need! Everything is so cute, the only thing I would say is that having bonfire pits at each cabin would be cool but they do have one outdoor gas grill up by the motel part and they had a little round grill we used for a bonfire at our cabin. But seriously, that’s so small compared to all the wonderful things about it. Plenty of parking, cute...
